Hello friends. I am sharing a birthday card I made using the colors at the current Color Hues Challenge of Kraft & Yellow.

I die cut the flowers from a lt. yellow (Recollections) using an older MFT Sunflower die set. I cut 6 layers of the smaller flower in the set and layered 2 each for my sunflowers. I shaped them with my stylus to give a little dimension. The centers are cut from SU Crumb Cake (kraft), as are the leaves, which are from a Spellbinders die set. I added the veins to the leaves with a dk. brown marker and also shaped them with my fingers before gluing under the flowers. The white background is embossed with SU Dainty Diamonds EF (retired). The sentiment panel and mat are cut with SU Countryside Corners dies. I trimmed the kraft mat down a little before adding to the card with foam tape. The sunflowers are also mounted with foam tape. The sentiment is from SU Happy Thoughts (retired).

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Hello friends. I have another birthday card to add to my stash as I am always needing them.
I used Pinkfresh Studio's Sparkling Diamonds Cover Plate Die for the lt. blue background, I think it is so pretty. The flowers and leaves are cut with PTI Into The Blooms - Dahlia; cut from paper from my stash. I cut 2 of the smallest layer for the small flower and then inked the edges of all the petals before gluing them together. I added rhinestone gems (Hobby Lobby) to the centers. The sentiment is from a retired SU set and die cut with Honey Bee Scallop A2 Honey Cuts. I mounted the sentiment panel with foam tape and glued the flowers and leaves on opposite corners.
I will link this to the following challenges:
Hello friends. It is never too early to start making Christmas cards for next year so I have made a card with a new to me die, Tim Holtz Seasonal Sketch, I saw so many pretty cards on Pinterest made with this die, so naturally I had to get it. I didn't get a chance to use it on my cards for this year but will definitely be using it a lot in 2023.
Hello friends. I have a birthday card to share today. This is for my granddaughter. Her birthday is in a couple of weeks, in fact, I have several family birthdays in January and have several more to make.
Hello friends. I am sharing a birthday card I made for my twin brother. He grew up working on ranches and riding horses and I know he will love this card. He is still a cowboy. 😀
I die cut the image (Paper Rose Stockman with Horse die) from black cardstock and mounted it on a white panel that I had blended Distress Oxide Ink over. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, and Spiced Marmalade to resemble a sunset sky. The sentiment is from a retired SU set. It is a quick card but perfect for my brother.
