Graduation Card

Hello friends.  I have a great-granddaughter graduating from high school this week and this is the card I made her.

The school colors are blue and white so I used SU Blueberry Bushel DSP, ink, and Blends for the card.  The paper is from Glorious Gingham (ret.).  The white panel is die cut with an unnamed die (but I love using it).  I stamped congratulations from SU Filled With Happiness stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink in the middle of the white panel.  The caps are from an older TCP Sudio Graduation set.  I stamped them in black ink, colored them with Blueberry Bushel Blends, fussy cut them, and mounted them with foam tape.  The white panel is also mounted with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Another Graduation Card

Hello friends.  I have another graduation card to share that I made for a young lady at church.  I wasn't able to go to her graduation party today so will give it to her at church tomorrow.

The cap and the Class of 2021 was cut on my Silhouette.  I had the stars already die cut and laying on my desk from another project and I thought they would be perfect for an extra little touch.  The white panel is embossed with SU Subtle EF and the scallop mat is an MFT Blueprints 27 die.

There is no stamping on this card so I will link to Just Us Girls Challenge - No Stamping.

Congrats Grad

Hello friends.   I have a graduation card to share today.

The school colors are royal blue and white so I used SU Pacific Point.  The graduation hat is cut with my Silhouette and the letters and numbers are cut with SU Playful Alphabet.  The Congrats is from an older SU set.  I drew the diplomal and fussy cut it.  I added gold thread around it.  The white panel is embossed with SU Subtle EF and the scalloped blue mat is cut with an MFT Blueprints 27 die.  I mounted the hat and diploma with foam tape.

I will link to Happy Little Stampers - Anything goes with dies.

Congratulations

Hello friends and happy Friday.  I have two graduation cards to share today.

I used an older stamp from Taylored Expressions that I have had for several years.

This one is for my granddaughter who graduated this week.  Her school colors are black & red. I stamped the image and colored with Copics, then die cut with a stitched rectangle die. The pattern paper is from my stash and I matted with black.  The sentiment is from an older SU set.  I also added some red sequins for a little bling.

This one is for my great-granddaughter who is graduating in two weeks.  Her school colors are blue & white.  Her hair is blonde, so I colored the image to match.  I used the same supplies and added gold sequins to her card.

Congratulations

My grandson's step-daughter is graduating tonight and I made this card for her.  The school colors are blue & white so I used SU Midnight Muse and the DSP is from American Crafts Jack Frost 6x6 pad.  The image is by Taylored Expressions - Moka Skylar and the congratulations is a Spellbinders' die - Sentiments One.  I colored her with Copics & Promarkers and cut her out with a Stitched Rounded Rectangle by Lil' Inkers.  The large blue mat is cut with a die from MFT Blueprints 20 (I love using this die for my mats).  That's it for my card.  I think she will like it.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Graduation card

I made this card for my grandson who graduated High School last night.  It is hard to believe that he is a young man now and will be going out into the grown-up world. :) I am very proud of him.  I attended 4 graduation services this past week: my grandson, two 5th grade graduations (1 granddaughter and 1 great-granddaughter) and a preschool graduation (great-granddaughter). I enjoyed them all and am so proud of each one of them.

Here is my card:
The card base and mats are SU Brilliant Blue CS (retired); the numbers are from SU Memorable Moments; the sentiment is from SU Word Play (retired); the graduation cap is from a retired SU set also, all stamped in SU Brilliant Blue Ink..  I colored the cap with some Copic markers and mounted it with foam dimensionals. The graph papers is from Teresa Collins Far and Away 6x6 pad and the lt. blue DSP is some older paper from my stash.  The banner was cut using MFT's Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Flags Layers dies.

Congrats Grad

The Dynamic Duos Challenge blog is celebrating their one year anniversary.  To participate you can make a card with any of their previous color combos.  I chose DD#49, Basic Gray & Basic Black to make this graduation card.  The image is by Stampabilities and I colored the tassel with marker.  The chevron paper is My Mind's Eye and of course I used SU Basic Gray and Basic Black CS.  I embossed the Basic Gray panel with  Quikutz Polka Dots EF.  I added some Basic Black grossgrain ribbon across the seam of the two papers.  The sentiment is done on my computer and cut out with MFT Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics and Layers. The card base and banners are Canvas Corp Heavy Weight CS.

Thanks for stopping by.  I appreciate your comments.

Graduation cards

Here are two graduation cards I made last week.  I used these two sweet digital images from Bugaboo Stamps and use blue and white which are our school colors.  Both images are printed on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics. Card bases are Canvas Corp Heavy Cardstock from Hobby Lobby.

Boy Grad:  After coloring the image, I cut him out and mounted him with foam dimensionals on a Spellbinder's Classic Oval die cut from MME DSP.  The light blue DSP is some older paper I have.  The blue mats are SU Brilliant Blue CS.  The sentiment on both cards is from SU Itty Bitty Banners stamped in Brilliant Blue ink and cut out by hand.  I added a Metallic Dots from JoAnn's to each corner of the BB CS strip.  I stamped each number individually in the "2013" with MFT LLD-Journal It Calendar Basics.

Girl Grad:  After coloring the image with Copics, I cut her out with Spellbinder's Classic Ovals and matted her on SB Scalloped Oval.  All blue mats are some older DSP from my stash, the other side is a print.  The large white panel is stamped in Basic Gray ink with SU En Francis background stamp.  The decorative strip is made with SU Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch.  I added 4 rhinestones colored with a Copic in the 4 corners.  Again, the 2013" is stamped with MFT LLD-Journal It Calendar Basics in Mememto Tuxedo Black ink.
