Happy Anniversary for Friends

Hell friends.  I am sharing an anniversary card I made for some good friends.  I hope you like it.

I used Spellbinders Club Blooms for the pretty flowers.  I die cut them in an off-white cardstock and then sponged Calypso Coral ink in the centers.  I also sponged a strip of the cardstock and then die cut the small buds.  I layered the blooms together and added a fancy rhinestone to the center of the large flower.  I die cut the leaves and stems from SU Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  The frame is cut with Poppy Stamps Geometric Deco Plate - I didn't use the center section.  I glued it to my card base and then glued the blooms on.  I sponged a little of the Calypso Coral ink where I wanted the sentiment then stamped it using an older Verve stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Seize the Birthday - Make it Musical

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Jules has chosen the "Topping" option of Make it Musical.  If you choose not to use the "topping", the only requirement is that it has to be for a birthday.

I used an older music embossing folder (Darice Music Sheet) for the white panel and Memory Box Musical Happy Birthday die for the sentiment die cut from black.  For the tulips I saw a card on Pinterest that used the wing from the retired SU Bird punch to make tulips and I wanted to give it a try.  I punched 15 wings from pink paper in my stash, blended ink around the bottom edges and glued 3 together to make the 5 tulips. I also hand cut the stems and leaves as she did and arranged it all for a bouquet of tulips.  I glued them all together and then glued them to the embossed panel.  The sentiment is glued over the stems.

I will link this to The Flower Challenge as there are stripes in the embossed musical panel and a few connecting the music note and happy birthday.

Be sure to check out all the fun musical cards by the Team at STB and join in this fun challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Anniversary Card

Hello friends.  I have an anniversary card to share today, I hope you like it.

I used Spellbinders Hello You Floral dies for the pretty blooms and die cut them in Flirty Flamingo (small flower) and Sweet Sorbet (large flower, bud, and other small flowers).  The stem was cut from Pear Pizzazz and the leaves from Wild Wasabi and then they were all layered together.  I placed them on a Poppy Stamps Penelope Pinpoint Frame - this is a new die and the first time I have used it.  I love the detail on it.  The sentiment is from an older stamp that I got at a stamp show several years ago and it does not have a name on it.  I die cut it with an Altenew Featured Sentiments Die Set (it has different sizes of dies).  I mounted the sentiment with foam tape and the whole panel was glued to a white card base.

I am linking my card to the following challenges:

Seize the Birthday - Make a Shaped Card

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and I am hosting this time.  I have chosen "Make a Shaped Card" for our "Topping" option this time.  It can be square, oval, round, any shape but the standard A2 card (4-1/4 x 5-1/2).  And if you are not into the "Topping" option, the only requirement is that it has to be for a birthday.

For my card I used Spellbinders Essential Stylish Ovals die and placed the folded card just inside the left side of the oval so it did not cut.  I then cut smaller oval and embossed it with SU Timeworn Type EF.  The flowers and leaves are from MFT Bold Blooms Die-namics and MFT Bold Greenery Die-namics.  I die cut the large flower 2 times from SU Flirty Flamingo and layered it; then added a small flower cut from SU Blushing Bride to the center.  I added a small flower on each side and then added the leaves.  The sentiment is from SU Peaceful Moments (ret.) and cut with SU Stylish Shapes oval and layered on a scallop oval die cut from Flirty Flamingo.  I added the sentiment with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you will check out all the shaped cards by the team and join in our fun challenge.

I will also share my card at AAA Birthday - Anything Goes.

Happy Birthday

Hello friends.  I have a birthday card to share today.  I used the colors from JUGS Challenge - Blue, Green & Yellow as I thought the colors were perfect for a flower card.

ETA:  My card was a favorite at Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies August challenge.

I wanted to play with my new Honeybee Lovely Layers Wildflowers dies so I die cut the flowers from white card and blended Daffodil Delight ink on the yellow flowers and Brilliant Blue ink on the blue flowers. The stemmed flowers were cut from Pear Pizzazz card and the colored flowers were glued on top.  I added a white enamel dot to the centers of the yellow flowers.  I arranged them on a white panel embossed with SU Crosshatch EF and matted with a thin blue mat.  The flowers and leaves were mounted with foam tape and the ends of the stems were glued down.  I stamped the sentiment from SU Go To Greetings on a strip of white matted with blue and glue it across the flower stems.

I will also link to AAA Birthday Challenge - Anything Goes

Birthday Card for Several Challenges

Hello friends.  I have a new birthday card to share today.  I made this using the colors from Color Hues Challenge, the sketch from Global Design Project;  Tic Tac Toe Challenge, and Happy Little Stampers Birthday Challenge.

I die cut the flowers from some pattern paper in my stash.  I don't remember ever die cutting flowers from pattern paper, but thought I would give it a try, and they turned out great. I used Papertrey Ink Into the Blooms - Dahlia for the flowers and leaves, which are cut from PTI Tropical Teal Card.  I cut all 3 layers for the bigger flower and the 2 smaller layers for the small flower.  I shaped the petals with my fingers and layered them together, and then added a black enamel gem to the centers. The pattern paper is from PTI Bitty Big Tropical Teal Designer Paper Pack.  I die cut a stitched rectangle for the white panel, but had to partially cut it and then put the other end back in the die to make it wide enough to cover the pattern paper panel per the sketch from .  The birthday sentiment from a retired SU set is stamped in Tropical Teal ink and fussy cut.  I mounted it with foam tape.  The white panel is also mounted with foam tape.

I really like the way the card turned out, and hope you enjoy seeing it.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day
