An Easter Card for As You See It Challenge

Hello Friends.  I have an Easter card to share today.

I used a retired SU Hold on to Hope stamps & dies for the cross and leafy vines.  I stamped the sunburst from Kinda Eclectic in So Saffron and mounted the layered cross (white and gold) over it.  I stamped the vines in Pear Pizzazz, die cut them and mounted them with foam tape.  The cross and sentiment are also mounted with foam tape.  I created the sentiment on my computer and die cut it with a small Stitched Rectangle Die.  The cross and mats are cut with gold foil card.

I will link to the As You See It Challenge - Easter theme.

A Birthday Card

Hello Friends.  I have a birthday card for a friend that I am sharing today.  I used some old and new dies from Stampin Up.

I love these new Pierced Blooms dies and have used them on quite a few cards.  I cut the flowers from Rococo Rose, the flower centers from white and the leaves from Pear Pizzazz.  I used Ornate Layers die for the lacy white panel with the sentiment (from a retired set).  The pattern paper is from Paper Blooms (Sale-a-Bration) and matted with a thin black mat.  I mounted the white panel and flowers with foam tape and then glued the whole panel to my white card base.  I added clear rhinestones to the flower centers for a touch of bling.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Two Cards to Share

Hello friends.  I have two cards to share with you today.  I made the first one for The Flower Challenge - Shades of Purple.

I used my new Altenew Sweet Flowers set to stamp and die cut the image.  I colored the flowers with SU Highland Heather Blends and the stems with Old Olive Blends.  I used dark Highland Heather and flicked it against the lid to get the speckles on the white panel.  I mounted the flowers with foam tape.  The sentiment is from SU Magnolia Blooms stamped in Highland Heather and die cut with a stitched oval.  I mounted this with foam tape also.

I really like this stamp set and like coloring it so I made another card with it and cut the flowers apart after coloring them. I used the largest Stitched with Whimsey die to emboss the front of the pink card base (the die doesn't cut, it just embosses).  The sentiment is from Good Morning Magnolia set stamped on a die cut from the Floating & Fluttering Butterfly set.  I mounted the flowers and sentiment with foam tape.
I made both cards to share at The Twofer Card Challenge - Your Choice ( of course my choice was flowers).

And since this is my first time using this set I will link to the NBUS challenge #24.

Seize the Birthday - Sketch

Hello friends and happy Thursday.  Our "topping" option for Seize the Birthday this time is a sketch chosen by Glenda.

For my card I die cut a Just Jade panel with Ornate Layers die and then pounced some White Frost Shimmer paint over it for a  little added texture.  It is so pretty and shimmery in person. The small white panel is also cut with a die from the same set.  The sentiment is in a little different spot but still goes with the sketch, it is from SU Magnolia Blooms.  The flower is from SU A Touch of Ink colored with Flirty Flamingo and Just Jade Blends.  I mounted the sentiment panel with foam tape and glued the flower to it, adding a little foam tape to the top to keep it even.

Be sure to check out all the designer's take on the sketch over at Seize the Birthday and join us in this fun challenge.  Hope to see you in our gallery.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a blessed day.

Anniversary card for The Paper Players

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing an anniversary card for a couple at church.. I was inspired by the colors and flowers in The Paper Players Spring inspiration photo.

I used dies from SU Pierced Blooms to cut the pretty flowers and leaves in different spring colors. The sentiment panel and pretty bow die cuts are also from the same set.  The sentiment from SU Many Mates is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and mounted with foam tape.  The flowers are also mounted with foam tape and the leaves glued under the edges.  I added a clear rhinestone to the center of the pretty bow.  The white panel is embossed with SU Pinewood Planks EF and matted with a Balmy Blue mat.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a blessed day.

3 Shades of Green for STB

Hello friends.  We have a new challenge for you at Seize the Birthday and for the "Toppings Option" this time Vicki would like us to use 3 shades of green on our card.

I used SU Soft Sea Foam (pattern paper and center of flowers), Pear Pizzazz (leaves), and Shaded Spruce ink to stamp the sentiment from Fancy Phrases.  The sentiment is stamped on a Stitched Nested Label Die and mounted with foam tape. I added a strip of Soft Sea Foam cardstock down the center where the two pattern papers meet.  The flowers and leaves are die cut with SU Pierced Blooms dies.  I added a clear rhinestone to the centers of the flowers and mounted them with foam tape..

Hop on over to Seize the Birthday and check out all the fun green cards my teammates and our party guest have created for you and join in our fun challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Anniversary

Hello friends.  I have an anniversary card to share today.  I used the Color Hues Challenge - Blue & Yellow for my card.

I used Seaside Spray (pattern paper and solid mat) and Midnight Muse (leaves) for the blues,.  I stamped the flower from Honey Bee Spring Peony and colored it with Stampin Up Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody Blends. I fussy cut the flower and mounted it with foam tape.  The leaves are die cut with a retired SU set and glued under the flower.  The butterfly is from SU A Touch of Ink (Sale-a-Bration item) and colored with SU Blends: Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Seaside Spray and Night of Navy.  I fussy cut the butterfly and mounted it with foam tape.  The sentiment is from SU Many Mates stamped in Midnight Muse on a stitched circle die cut, then mounted with foam tape.  For a final touch I added the 3 Seaside Spray gems.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I appreciate your comments.
