I made this card for the Merry Monday #48 color challenge. Boy, was it different making a Christmas card with these colors. I found a new challenge site http://stilladdinktive.blogspot.com/ and used their sketch challenge for my card. You can use the sketch & colors or either one, so I chose the sketch and the colors from the Merry Monday challenge. I rotated the sketch so I could add the ornament for the oval element, like it is hanging from the pine branches.
All supplies are from Stampin Up (except the Martha Stewart pearl). I used Whisper White & Basic Gray CS and Pumpkin Pie DSP. I cut 2 Top Note die-cuts from Basic Gray & WW, cutting the white one around the dotted edge. I used the Greetings of The Season for my sentiment and Watercolor Winter for the pine branches, stamped in Basic Gray ink. I stamped the ornament from Ornament Keepsakes in Marina Mist ink and cut it out, mounted it with foam dimensionals over the Marina Mist Taffeta ribbon, then added a MS pearl to the center.
Thanks for stopping by. Comments are greatly appreciated.
