Happy Anniversary for The Paper Players

I needed another anniversary card and used the sketch from The Paper Players.

I used some new SU items: Daisy Lane for the flowers, Beautiful Bouquet for the sentiment, Stitched Nested Labels die for the sentiment, mounted with foam tape.  The paper is the new Terracotta Tile in-color.  I stamped the flower with the Terracotta Tile ink, layered them and added a faceted gem colored with a black marker.  The leaves are from Wonderful Romance die set (retired).  The Whisper White panel is embossed with the Tufted 3D EF.   The card base is Thick Whisper White.

Happy Birthday for Freshly Made Sketches

I made this card for a friend and based it on the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the Delicate Lace die cut edges to represent the layers on the middle panel.  The background Rococo Rose layer is embossed with the Tufted EF.  The flowers are from the new Daisy Lane set stamped with Rococo Rose ink (love this new color) and punched with the matching medium daisy punch.  I added matching Faceted Gems to the flower centers.  The leaves are punched from Pear Pizzazz.  The sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet.  I just realized I put the sentiment in the wrong place, but hope that is o.k.

CAS Mix Up - Ombre

I was working on this ombre panel for the CAS Mix Up challenge and decided to make an anniversary card for a couple at church. I used ombre blending, stamping and die cutting.

I used SU Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Primrose Petal inks for my ombre panel and then die cut it with the Delicate Lace Edgelits dies.  I happen to have the floral die cut from Bloom & Grow already colored with Flirty Flamingo Blends for the flowers, and die cut, so I added some foam tape and popped it up on my card.  The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Anniversary Innies stamp set.  I love the way it turned out and hope the recipients do also.

Birthday Wishes for Seize the Birthday

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of "Cover the Card".  Remember it is an option and the only requirement is that it be for a birthday.

For my card I used this new SU Floral Essence set and stamped all over the panel with Rococo Rose ink.  I then made 2 flower masks and stamped the leaves in Wild Wasabi ink.  I sponged the flowers with Rococo Rose ink and stamped the centers with So Saffron.   I matted the panel with a thin mat of Rococo Rose and die cut the greeting with SU Well Written dies and Rococo Rose card.  I die cut the greeting twice and layered it so it would stand out.  I also added Wink of Stella to the greeting and to the flower centers.

Have a Roaring Good Birthday

Hello friends.  I am sharing a card requested by a friend for her granddaughter who loves zoo animals.  I used Lawn Fawn's Critters on the Savannah stamps and die set.

I stamped the animals and colored them with Copics, and then cut them out with the matching dies.  I punched a 1" circle to use as a mask for the sun while I sponged the background with blue and green inks  The grass is from the stamp set.  I cut the tree in half and mounted it on each side and them mounted the animals with foam tape.  I matted the panel with green card and then a larger brown mat to match the colors in the design.

Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes

Hello Friends and Happy Thursday.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this week it is "Anything Goes".

For my card I was inspired by Vicki Burdick's card here (thank you Vicki).  She makes beautiful floral cards and you know that is my favorite kind to make.  I used the SU Tufted EF for the white panel and the flowers are from Tea Together.  I added an extra yellow flower and added Wink of Stella to all the flowers.  I also added an extra leave die cut from Wonderful Floral dies (retired).  I also changed the orientation and added a birthday sentiment from Very Vintage (retired).  The wood DSP is mounted with foam tape and the final touch was to add a few rhinestones.
