Thinking of You

I am sharing a card I made for a friend who had a fall before Christmas and needed a little cheering up.  It was pretty bad but could have been worse.
I should have used a darker background as the white card base kind of fades into the background.  Anyway, I used Calypso Coral and 2 different background stamps to stamp the papers - MFT Gingham and Floral Flourish.  I stamped the flourish on Cajun Craze CS, which is a little darker than the Calypso Coral, but it showed up fine.  The image from SU Wishing You Well is stamped with Wild Wasabi and Calypso Coral inks on an MFT Pierced Rectangle die cut.  I love the bow in this set, it looks so dimensional.  The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Poppies and Greetings and is stamped on a die cut from MFT Blueprints 13, and mounted with foam tape.

I will share this at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

Happy Anniversary

Hello friends.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  Today I am sharing an anniversary card I made for a couple at church.  I used the MojoMonday  Sketch 505 and turned it sideways to fit my sentiment and used the flower for the circle element.

The sentiment is a Verve stamp  on an MFT Pierced Fistail Flag die and the flower is MFT Upsy Daisy. I die cut it in white and colored it with a marker to match the DSP.  I added the rhinestone for a little bling.  I cut two of the leafy flourish scroll and cut it apart to make the leaf embellishment.  The paper is some older Hot Off The Press paper I found in my stash. I thought the heart paper would be perfect for an anniversary card.

Two Christmas cards

Hello friends.  I am sharing 2 last minute Christmas cards I made.
The first one has a red poinsettia made with an older MFT die on a card base of Very Vanilla CS.  The embossed border was made with a retired SU embossing border..  The sentiment from Verve Weary World is embossed in gold.  I added some ribbon trimmed in gold.

The second card is made with SU Detailed Poinsettia Thinlets die.  I die cut the base of the poinsettia from vellum and the outline layer from gold foil.  The white panel is die cut with the border die from the same set and layered over a panel of gold foil.  The sentiment from The Project Bin Luke 2 is embossed in gold.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Joy to the World

Hello friends.  I am almost finished with my Christmas cards and this is one I loved making.  It shows the true meaning of Christmas.
The Joy die is from Cottage Cutz and I have used it on several cards.  For this one I cut it from textured gold paper and mounted it with foam tape to a circle die cut.   The sentiment is from Concord & 9th Joy Stamp set.  I cut it with a fishtail die and mounted it with foam tape also.  The gold foil stripe paper is from Craft Smith Love Story 12x12 pad.

I am linking my card up to three challenges:

Happy Anniversary

Hello friends.  I am sharing a couple of anniversary cards I made for couples at church.  I have 7 anniversary cards and quite a few birthday cards to make for my church family in December, plus my Christmas cards so I am a busy lady. :)  I love making them though.

For this card I used paper from an older DCWV Lemon Flower Matstack.  It has glittery papers in it.  The gray parts of the flower paper is actually silver glitter which doesn't show up in the photo.  The green is cut with MFT Fishtail Flags Stax 1 & 2 (discontinued).  The flower is MFT Upsy Daisy (discontinued) cut from SU So Saffron and the leaves are cut from SU Pear Pizzazz with MFT Stitched Blooms. The sentiment is from Just Rite Large Fancy Sentiments.  I matted them all with black cardstock and mounted the daisy and the right side of the sentiment with foam tape.  The final touch was a few rhinestones for bling.

For this one I used Talyored Expressions Weathered EF for the white panel, matted with Balmy Blue catdstock. and Altenew Painted Flowers stamped with SU Balmy Blue ink.  I stamped off once for the light layer and then full strength for the darker layer.  The leaves are stamped with SU Wild Wasabi ink.  The sentiment is a stamp from Hobby Lobby stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink and matted with Balmy Blue cardstock.  I mounted this panel with foam tape and added clear rhinestones.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look.  I appreciate it so much which you take time to leave me a comment.  Have a wonderful day.
