Seize the Birthday Primarily Pink

Hello friends.  It's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Nancy would like our birthday cards to be Primarily Pink.  Of course there is always our "anything goes" birthday, if you are not into our "Topping" option.
I cut a panel of SU Barely Blush (available May) and used Waffle Flower Rhombus Texture Die to create the pretty texture.  I used Gina K. Designs Wishful Florals Stamps, Dies, and Stencils to create the pretty flowers.  After stamping them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I used the stencils and Barely Blush ink to color the flowers and SU Soft Succulent ink (ret.) to color the leaves.  I used SU Lt. Pretty in Pink Blend to add a little color to the centers of the flowers and base of the buds.  I die cut them and mounted with foam tape to the pink panel.  I added an Altenew white enamel dot to the centers of the flowers.  The sentiment is from Gina K. Designs Elegant Thoughts stamp and dies, and is mounted with foam tape also.

I will save this for my great-granddaughter's birthday in May as her favorite color is pink.

Don't forget to check out all the fabulous pink cards by out Party Guests and the Design Team at Seize the Birthday.  Hope to see you in our gallery.

Last April Anniversary Card

Hello friends.  This is the last anniversary card I have to make for April anniversaries.  I do have several to make for May though.
I use some new dies I recently received - Gina K. Designs Ornate Frame and Simon Says Stamp Blossom Vine.  I cut the frame from white and also the flowers from white.  I blended SU Crisp Cantaloupe ink on the flowers and Soft Succulent ink on the stems & leaves. Thanks to Bonnie for the idea of adding the third flower. on this card.  I embosed a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe using SU Cross-Hatch EF and then mounted the white frame on it, adding the center piece back in.  I mounted the flowers with foam tape, gluing the stems down.  I cut the second flowers in half and added one to the center.  For the final touch I stamped the greeting from a Sweet n' Sassy stamp set, die cut it with an Altenew die and mounted it with foam tape.

I will add this to Darnell's NBUS as this is the first time using the frame die and flower die.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday for FMS 732

Hello friends.  I am making cards again and this one is for my daughter's birthday in May.  I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and the color teal as she loves teal.

I used Altenew Darling Dahlia dies for the pretty blooms cut from SU Pretty Peacock and the leaves from Granny Apple Green.  I added some black enamel dots to the center of each bloom.  I thought the black/white pattern paper went good with the teal color so I added a strip to the left of the card base, as in the photo. The flowers are in a slightly different angle but I hope they are o.k.  I added a small strip of black to the edge and then arranged the flowers for the circles in the sketch.  I thought about embossing the white but left it plain and stamped an older SU sentiment to the bottom right.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,

Another April Anniversary Card

Hello friends.  This is another anniversary card for April.
I used Pinkfresh Studio's Sparkling Diamond Cut Plate again for the background - it makes such a pretty background, cut in white and mounted to the card base.  I added a strip of black/white pattern paper from my stash, to the left side of the card, and added a narrow strip of SU Real Red to it.  I stamped SU Layers of Beauty in black and used the stencils with Real Red and Soft Succulent (R) inks to blend the colors on.  I used a Dark Real Red Blend to go over the small buds and the centers of the smaller flowers.  After die cutting, I mounted the image with foam tape.  The sentiment is from an older Sweet n' Sassy Stamp set and is mounted with foam tape.

I will add this to Darnell's I.D.E.A.S Challenge as it is Ink/Color Mediums week and I used plenty of ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Anniversary Card Using Fuchsia and Navy

Hello friends.  I have another anniversary card made with the colors from the Color Hues Challenge.
I just received Waffle Flower Rhombus Texture Die and Rhombus Panel Die set and couldn't wait to use them so I cut the white panel and then placed the trellis die cut over it.  I used Altenew Delicate Magnolia die for the pretty blooms, cutting them from SU Melon Mambo card. I then used a finger dobber and white ink to go around the edges of the petals before gluing them together.  I added fancy rhinestones (Hobby Lobby) to the centers of the flowers.  I cut the leaves from SU Starry Sky card using a Spellbinders die   The sentiment is an older Verve stamp and I stamped it in Starry Sky ink and then cut it with a die from SU Unbounded Love die set.  I placed it back in the die to shorten the length and mounted it with foam tape.

I will also add this to Darnell's NBUS as this is the first time using the Waffle Flower set.

and to the Triple B Challenge - Birds/Blooms/Butterflies

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Another Anniversary Card

Hello friends.  I have another April anniversary card to share today. This will also be going to a couple at church.

I was inspired by this card by Lea Lawson and loved the colors so this is what I made.  After die cutting the pretty Altenew Darling Dahlias, I blended lt. pink ink to the centers before gluing together.  I blended lt. green ink to the leaves.  I cut a piece of SU Basic Gray with Pinkfresh Studio's Sparkling Diamonds cut plate and added it to the white card base.  I used the two label dies from SU Peace on Earth dies to cut from white and SU Bubble Bath.  I placed the white label back in the die to cut it down some as there was too much white around the pink.  I embossed the sentiment in white on the pink label and glued them together.  I mounted the label with foam tape, added small pieces of foam tape under the flowers and adhered them around the label, then glued the leaves around the flowers.  I added fancy rhinestones to the centers of the flowers and 3 small rhinestones on the gray layer.  I really love the finished card

I will add this to the Triple B Challenge

and to Just Us Girls _ die week (I think my flowers are springy)
