Happy Anniversary in Neutrals

Good morning friends.  I am sharing an anniversary card I made for some good friends.    I have used SU Painted Seasons again, this time stamped in Peekaboo Peach.  I love the flowers in this set and how they stamp so well.  I also added the centers from the Delighful Daisy stamp set, stamped in Soft Suede.  The leaves are stamped in Old Olive.  The sentiment is from Verve, stamped in Soft Suede on a Stitched Fishtail Flag die.  I mounted the flowers and sentiment panel with foam tape.
The background is partially embossed with SU Happy Hearts EF and then I stamped the pretty border with SU Delicate Details border in Crumb Cake ink - it is retired and it is my first time using it.  It is so pretty and I will be using it again.  I saw this background idea on a card on Pinterest and had to try it.   I love the way it turned out.  Of course I had to add flowers. :)  The card base is SU Crumb Cake.

I am linking my card to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Seize the Birthday - Spring

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of Spring.  It seems as if everyone's thoughts of Spring turns to flowers (and maybe butterflies).  I know mine did with my card. Remember it is an option and the only requirement is that it has to be for a birthday.
I stamped these pretty flowers from SU Painted Seasons set (from Sale-a-Bration) in Flirty Flamingo ink and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz.  I then die-cut them with the matching dies.  The Butterfly is from SU Beauty Abounds, also stamped in Flirty Flamingo.  I fussy cut it and mounted with foam tape.  The flowers are also mounted with foam tape and I just glued the leaves under them.  The sentiment is a very old SU stamp which I love to use.  I stamped it with Pear Pizzazz ink.

The scallop frame is from Sunny Studio Fancy Frames Ovals.  I die cut it from the white panel and then embossed the panel with SU Subtles EF, glued the panel on the card base and then stamped the sentiment in the opening.

You should check out all the pretty Spring cards by my teammates, and our Party Guest, over at Seize the Birthday.  I hope to see you in our gallery.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

March CAS Christmas Card Challenge

The CAS Christmas Card Challenge for March is to use a deer on your card.
It is also their first birthday celebration.
I did a card for the challenge using the Memory Box Evergreen Reindeer die. I cut the white panel with a stitched rectangle die and then die cut the reindeer element.
I had this piece of faux mother of pearl card from my previous Christmas card and I used it behind the die cut to resemble the blue sky and the green trees on the sides.  I added a thin mat of SU Balmy Blue card and the sentiment is from Sweet n' Sassy Poinsettia set.

I am also linking my card to a new challenge to me Christmas Kickstart Challenge #6 - Moves on Hooves

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Sending You Lots & Lots of Happy

Hello Friends.  I am sharing a card I made for a friend using the Mojo Monday #511 sketch (I did switch sides for the circle and rectangle as it suited the flower image better).  I am also entering it in The Flower Challange - Anything Goes - you know how I love to make floral cards, my favorite.
Here is my card.
All of the supplies are from Stampin Up except for the circle dies.  I love this floral image from the Sale-a-Bration set Lovely Lattice.  I stamped the image, colored it and then fussy cut just part of the image.  I mounted the flowers on the circle die cut with foam tape.  The card base and the mat are  Highland Heather.  The check paper is from the Gingham Gala 6x6 pad.  The sentiment is from the Lots of Happy Card kit and is stamped on a stitched rectangle die cut.  I added 3 small rhinestones for a little bit of bling.   The white panel is embossed with the Lace Dynamic Texture Impressions EF and is very pretty.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Dots and Stripes for Seize the Birthday

Hello friends and happy Thursday.  We have a new challenge for you at Seize the Birthday and this time our "Toppings" option is to use Dots and Stripes.  Of course, the only requirement is that it has to be for a birthday.
For my card I used Blushing Bride from the SU Subtles DSP.  The stripes are on the reverse side of the dotted paper.  I added a strip of Blushing Bride where the papers joined.  The flowers and leaves are from W Plus 9 Modern Anemones Stamp and Die Combo.  I colored them with Promarkers and die cut them with the matching dies.  They are mounted with foam tape.  The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Birthday Greetings and I mounted it with foam tape after snipping the flagged ends.

Don't forget to check out all the fabulous "Dots and Stripes" cards by the designers and our Special Party Guest, Tenia Nelson, over at Seize the Birthday.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

A Birthday Card

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing a birthday card I made for a friend.
I used Altenew's Painted Flowers and SU Grapefruit Grove ink.  I stamped off once for the lighter shade and full strength for the darker layer.  The stripe panel is stamped with MFT Stripe Background and Grapefruit Grove ink.  The mat and bow die cut are from Grapefruit Grove cardstock.  The sentiment is from a retired SU set.  The white die cut panel and the bow die are from SU Stitched Seasons Framelits (retired).  I added an enamel dot to the bow center and the flowers are mounted with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Thinking of you

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing a card I made for a friend that fell and had to have surgery on a fractured knee cap.  I hope this card cheers her up a little and lets her know she is thought of.
The Soft Sea Foam panel is embossed with a Cuttlebug EF.  The yellow check is from SU Gingham Gala 6x6 pad.  I added white Baker's twine around the gingham panel.  The butterflies from Butterfly Gala is stamped in Daffodil Delight and I sponged a little ink in the center.  I added small rhinestones and glued the butterflies on just in the center.  The sentiment is an older retired SU stamp and is stamped on a die cut from SU Rose Trellis Framelits and mounted with foam tape.  That's it for today.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
