Birthday Card for Several Challenges

Hello friends.  I have a new birthday card to share today.  I made this using the colors from Color Hues Challenge, the sketch from Global Design Project;  Tic Tac Toe Challenge, and Happy Little Stampers Birthday Challenge.

I die cut the flowers from some pattern paper in my stash.  I don't remember ever die cutting flowers from pattern paper, but thought I would give it a try, and they turned out great. I used Papertrey Ink Into the Blooms - Dahlia for the flowers and leaves, which are cut from PTI Tropical Teal Card.  I cut all 3 layers for the bigger flower and the 2 smaller layers for the small flower.  I shaped the petals with my fingers and layered them together, and then added a black enamel gem to the centers. The pattern paper is from PTI Bitty Big Tropical Teal Designer Paper Pack.  I die cut a stitched rectangle for the white panel, but had to partially cut it and then put the other end back in the die to make it wide enough to cover the pattern paper panel per the sketch from .  The birthday sentiment from a retired SU set is stamped in Tropical Teal ink and fussy cut.  I mounted it with foam tape.  The white panel is also mounted with foam tape.

I really like the way the card turned out, and hope you enjoy seeing it.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day

Happy Stamping,

Be My Valentine

I have a valentine card to share today.  I made this for a couple of challenges and used 3 different SU stamp sets - Meant to Be (top white heart and inside sentiment), Heartfelt (red scallop heart and heart dies), Always in My Heart (for the sentiment and banner die cut).

ETA: My card was chosen as one of the winners at Make the Card Challenge.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Weekly_Winner_Watermark.png

The red panel is embossed with an older Darice EF.  The die cut banner is stamped in Real Red ink and folded on the crease lines.  I glued the folds, added a red rhinestone, and mounted the banner with foam tape.  The hearts are also stamped in Real Red ink and die cut with the matching dies.

Here is a photo of the inside.

A New Christmas Card

Hello friends. I am working on getting more Christmas cards completed and I love the way this one turned out.

I love the Poinsettia Petals set by SU and have used it again on this card.  I die cut the 3 layers from pink card and shaped the petals with my fingers. I love how it has the embossed veins in it.  I die cut the leaves from SU Soft Succulent.  The white layer is embossed with an older large dots EF and adhered to the card base.  I then added a strip of SU Whimsy & Wonder DSP edged with strips of gold specialty paper.  I die cut the sentiment with Memory Box Special Merry Christmas from gold foil.   I also added two gold foil sprigs cut with the poinsettia die set.  The final touch was 3 small gold beads added to the center of the poinsettia.

and Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies. - actually there is no stamping on this card, it is all dies.

Happy Birthday

Hello friends.  I have a new birthday card to share today.

Yea, my card was one of the Top 3 Winners at the Dies R Us Challenge.

Top Three Badge

The colors are SU Pale Papaya, Grapefruit Grove and Pear Pizzazz.  The flowers are die cut with Memory Box Layered Fresh Flowers, Grapefruit Grove, and the leaves with an older SU set in Pear Pizzazz.  I die cut the center twice, layered it and then added it to the flower.  I also added a rhinestone to the center and added it to the panel with foam tape. The Pale Papaya panel is cut with Memory Box Pinpoint Burst Plate and then with a SU Scalloped Contour die.  The white doily is from SU Encircled in Beauty dies.  I stamped the sentiment from Magnolia Blooms (retired) and mounted it with foam tape, and then the panel was added to a thick white card base.

My card fits two challenge themes so I will link Dies R Us Challenge - Anything Goes
