Hello friends. I have a card I made using the colors from the Color Hues challenge - Turquoise and Navy.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with this color combo but I just received this new Pretty Frames 2 die from PinkFresh Studio and had to try it out. It cuts a lot of frames at one time. I used the 2nd largest, middle, and small center frames. I mounted the outer frame and center frame with foam tape and glued the middle one down. I stamped the sentiment from an older stamp in Night of Navy ink and added a very thin Night of Navy mat. The flowers from SU Daisy Lane are stamped in Tempting Turquoise and layered. I added a clear gem stone to the centers and mounted them with foam tape between the frames. The leaves from a retired stamp set are die cut in Night of Navy card and glued under the flower petals.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
Wonderful layering of the frames, JoAnn! So pretty with the sweet flowers and foliage!
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun using items for the first time! I think this frame is going to be put to many good uses! I love your card Joann. I always love seeing non traditional leaves and they work so well with our colors this week at Color Hues! Thanks for joining us for our second challenge.
ReplyDeleteLovely color combination and the frames are so pretty. This is a lovely card.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. The white frame background really makes these beautiful die-cut flowers pop.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card with the pretty frames adorned by your lovely floral clusters! I have that PFS frame die but have trouble getting it to cut through my Big Shot; after seeing your stunning creation, I need to give it another try! Thrilled to see you in the Colour Hues gallery!
