Hello and welcome to another challenge at Seize the Birthday. Today Cathy has chosen our "Toppings" option to Use Diecuts Only. Remember it is an option and the only requirement is that it has to be a birthday project.
For my card I used SU Sending Flowers dies (retired) for the main element and the birthday banner. The flower die only cuts the image into the paper, I used a large circle die to completely cut it out, colored the flowers with markers and added to a yellow gingham panel with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from SU Blossoms in Bloom stamp set and added it with foam tape also. For the final touch I added small rhinestones to the yellow flowers.
I will add this to Darnell's NBUS (Never Before Used Stuff) Challenge for September as I had not used this die before.
Be sure to check out all the fabulous cards by my teammates over at Seize the Birthday. I hope you will join us for this fun challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool die this is, JoAnn. The flowers really pop and the lighter ones look like they might be made from wood veneer! It's such a pretty summertime birthday card and I love the bright gingham background! Thank you so much for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell
