Baby Card

Hello friends.  I have a baby card to share today.  I went to a baby shower this past weekend and this is the card I made.  I also made her a baby album and will show photos of that later.

The baby clothes images are from Sweet 'N Sassy Oh Baby stamp and die set.  I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with SU Seaside Spray, Crumb Cake, and Daffodil Delight Blends.  The sentiment and baby rattles are from an older Verve Little Ones set and colored with the same blends.  I die cut the sentiment with SU Stylish Shapes die and added a Soft Suede mat.  I mounted the sentiment and images with foam tape to a Seaside Spray panel embossed with SU Timeworn Type EF which is also matted with Soft Suede and then added to the white card base.

I will link to Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Thinking of You

This is a card I made for a friend who was recently in the hospital but is now home and doing better (no virus - for other health reasons). I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her and hope this cheers her a little.
The flowers are Sweet 'n Sassy Spring Tulips colored with SU Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Blends, and die cut with a SU Stitched So Sweetly die.  The DSP and mat are also Daffodil Delight.  The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia set and die cut with a die with the Stitched Rectangles dies.  Both panels are mounted with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a safe and blessed day.

Happy Birthday for JUGS Photo Week

I am sharing a card I made for a friend using the challenge at Just Us Girls.
I had the embossed panel on my table and decided to die cut an oval to showcase the pretty flowers from Sweet 'n Sassy Spring Tulips.  I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with SU Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Blends.  I fussy cut the tulips and mounted them with foam tape in the opening which I had sponged with light blue ink.  The sentiment is from SU Very Vintage (retired).  I mounted it with foam tape in the center and glued the ends.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you all are staying safe and healthy.  I am getting lots of cards made, which I enjoy doing.

Merry Monday # - Use Poinsettia(s)

Hello Merry Monday Fans.  I am your host this week over at Merry Monday and I would like you to use poinsettia(s) on your Christmas card.  I think poinsettias are so pretty at Christmas and I can't wait to see what you create with them.
For my card I stamped Sweet 'n Sassy's Poinsettia twice and colored it with Promarkers and then fussy cut the poinsettia from one and layered it over the bottom flower, offsetting it a little so that it would look fuller.  The sentiment is from the same set and stamped in SU Wild Wasabi ink and then cut with an MFT stitched oval and mounted with foam tape.  I added it with foam tape over a PTI Mix & Mat Flourishes die.  The bottom white layer is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I hope you will check out all the great cards by the designers over at Merry Monday and join us in this week's challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Seize the Birthday - Use a Kraft Card Base

Hi friends.  It's Thursday and you know what that means. :)  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time our "Toppings" option is to use a kraft card base.
I used the MFT Wood Plank Background and MFT Sweet Tooth (white) ink to stamp on my kraft card base.  I then stamped this pretty Spring Tulips image by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and colored it with Promarkers.  I die cut it with Lil' Inker Designs Side Stitched Rectangles and mounted it with foam tape.  The sentiment is from Just Rite Cupcake Wishes, stamped on a circle die cut with MFT Blueprints 13.  The kraft mat is cut with the same die set and this is mounted with foam tape.

Now check out all the fabulous cards by my teammates over at Seize the Birthday.  I hope you will be inspired to join us.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I appreciate it when you take time to leave a comment.
Have a wonderful day.

Darnell's NBUS Challenge #12

This is my card for Darnell's NBUS Challege #12

I created this card using Sweet 'n Sassy Poppies and Greetings set, my first time using it (NBUS)  I colored it with Promarkers and added a real old CTMH stamp, Hillside Grass along the bottom.  I die cut the image with Lil Inker Designs Stitched Rounded Rectangle.  I put it back in the die to cut a little off the top and then sponged lt. blue ink around the image. I also lightly sponged some lt. green ink over the stamped grass.  The DSP was a left over piece on my desk and I don't remember which pad it came from.  The mats are SU Regal Rose.  I didn't add a sentiment so it can be used for any occasion.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Merry Christmas (in August)

ETA:  Yea, my card was an Honorable Mention at Merry Monday.

Good morning fellow stampers.  It is a beautiful morning here in Central Florida.  Here are the details for my card.  I started with the sketch from Merry Monday #69 challenge.  I used the red, white, and green color combo from Christmas Stampin All Year Long and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 137 - picture inspiration challenges.

I used Canvas Corp. Heavy White CS for my card base and the embossed panel, which is partially embossed with SU Snowburst EF.  The DSP is from Echo Park's Very Merry Christmas 6x6 pad.  I stamped the poinsettia from Sweet & Sassy's Christmas Is set, colored them with Copics and cut them out. They are mounted with foam tape.  I also added some Sunny Yellow Flower Soft to the centers.  The Merry Christmas sentiment is from Verve's Peace On Earth set, stamped in Mememto Tuxedo Black ink.  I used a SU border punch for the Cherry Cobler borders and a Garden Green strip embossed with my stylus, across the white panel.
That's it for my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I appreciate your comments.
