Another Anniversary Card

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing an anniversary card I made for a couple at church.  We have quite a few anniversaries and birthdays this month, so there will be more anniversary cards.   

I am also joining The Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe challenge #306 as I used enamel dots, patterned paper and die cuts, the diagonal row.

I used SU Naturals White CS for the card base and white panels, and black for the mats.  The patterned paper is from Mirabelle Paper Pack by The Paper Studio.  The flower and leaves are  made with Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamps and Botanical Wings dies.  I added a black enamel dot to the flower.  The sentiment is by My Sentiments Exactly stamp from Hobby Lobby, stamped on MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags die cut.  The small white panel is embossed with SU Finial Press EF and mounted with foam tape.  The flower is also mounted with foam tape.

Seize the Birthday - Pink & Brown

Hello Friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this week we have the "Toppings" option of "Pink & Brown".  Remember it is an option and the only requirement is that it has to be for a birthday.

For my card I used the Botanical Builders Framelits dies from Stampin' Up for the flowers in Pink Pirouette, and leaves in Old Olive.  I added the centers in white and rhinestones.  The kraft DSP is from an older SU pad and I don't remember the name.  The sentiment from SU Perfectly Penned (retired) is embossed in white on black CS.

My fellow Design Team members at Seize the Birthday have created some fabulous cards.  I hope you will be inspired to play along.

Happy 25th Anniversary

Hello friends.  I haven't posted in awhile as I was really busy the last couple of weeks.  I was in charge of crafts during our Vacation Bible School at church last week and had to get things ready.  We had a really great turnout and all the kids enjoyed the crafts.

Today I am sharing a card I made for my daughter and son-in-law's 25th wedding anniversary.

I used MFT Tropical Teal CS and ink.  The background was made with SU Something Lacy and the teal ink (teal was the color in their wedding).  The die-cut panel is made with Spellbinders Floral Ovals and mounted with foam tape.  The flowers are SU Petite Petals and the leaves are SU Peaceful Petals and Pear Pizzazz ink.  I added rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.  The Happy Anniversary is an Elizabeth Craft Designs die cut from SU Brushed Silver CS and 25 is from Tim Holtz Vintage Market alphabet die.  I stamped the TH from SU Memorable Moments with silver ink.

She loved the card.

Seize the Birthday - "Bold and Bright"

Happy Thursday my friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of  "Bold and Bright".

I used some bold colors from a Recollections CS pack and the flowers and leaves are made with Lil' Inker Designs Perky Posies dies.  The layers are separated with foam tape and I added a rhinestone to the centers.  The orange scallop mat is cut with a die from MFT Blueprints 20.   The happy birthday is cut with the MFT Free with $60 die (this month's free die).  I cut 4 white layers and then the DSP die and glued them together for dimension.   The white panel is embossed with an older Darice or Cuttlebug EF, not sure.  I added some irridescent sequins to finish my card.

Wedding Wishes

I am sharing a card I made for my daughter's friend.    It is 5"x7".  I used the Decorative Oval Die by Heartfelt Creations, the sentiment and die from SU Rose Wonder, and the leaves from SU Botanical Builder Framelits.  The rose is made from punches and I had it in my stash, I thought it matched the DSP, which is from a Heartfelt Creations pad.  I matted it in black and the card base is Coredinations Heavy White Card.

Happy 4th of July and a Wedding Mini Album

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy 4th of July.  My prayer is that God will Bless America.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land."    2 Chronicles 7:14 

Today, I am sharing a few photos of a mini album I made for a friend.  I enjoy making them and hope you enjoy taking a look.  

This is the cover.  The rose trim is from Hobby Lobby.  The hearts are a Martha Stewart punch and the title is a cutout from the  Recollections Bridal Bliss paper pad.  Most of the papers are from this pad.  I used several punches and dies throughout the album.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Seize the Birthday - Birds, Bees or Butterflies

Happy Thursday my friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of using Birds, Bees or Butterflies on your birthday card.

I looked through my stamps for a bird, but ended up using these butterflies from SU Papillon Potpourri.  I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics to match the colors in the DSP.  I fussy cut them and added rhinestones to the bodies.  I added sparkle with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen.  You can see it better in the photo below.  Also, green and coral stripes in the DSP are glittered. (Very pretty IRL)  The DSP is from DCWV Mango Frost Mat Stack.  The sentiment is from a stamp I got at JoAnn's, but it doesn't have a name on it.  The sentiment is matted with a Spellbinders Lacey Square die cut.  The large scallop mat is cut with an MFT Blueprints 20 die and the card base is my favorite, Coordinations Heavy White Card.

Little Bear for Seize the Birthday

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time it is "Anything Goes" for a birthday.  No "toppings" option this time.

I used this cute Little Bear Birthday digi image from Bugaboo Stamps.  I colored him with Promarkers and cut him out with a Pierced Circle die by MFT, and matted it with SU Lost Lagoon die cut with MFT Circle Stax 2 die.  All the mats are Lost Lagoon and the scallop mat is cut with a die from MFT Blueprints 20.  The DSP is from SU Moonlight Paper Stack.

Happy Birthday for a Friend

This is a card I made for a friend who's birthday is tomorrow.  I used SU Perfect Plum DSP and ink.  I stamped Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur in Perfect Plum on white CS and then sponged the ink over them.  I fussy cut them out and sponged just the petal tips with more ink.  I added Wink of Stella glitter pen to the petals (which doesn't show up in the photo).  I added  lavender pearls to the centers.  The leaves are from Heartfelt Creations Open Leaf set, stamped and sponged with SU Pear Pizzazz ink.  The sentiment is SU Beautiful Birthday (retired) stamped in Perfect Plum ink.  The white panel is cut with Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight and the center oval is mounted with foam tape.

Another Anniversary Card

Here is another anniversary card for a couple at church.

For my card I used two Cheery Lynn Dies - Two of Hearts (the largest heart) and 2 of the Mini Fanciful Flourish.  I cut the flourishes apart to fit my design.  The flowers are from SU Petite Petals stamped with black ink on red CS and punched with the matching punch.  I mounted the flowers, heart and sentiment panel with foam tape.  I added pearls to the flower centers.  The sentient is from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired), and cut with an MFT Pierced Fishtail Flag die.  The card base is SU Crumb Cake (kraft).

Since I used two Cheery Lynn Dies I am entering their challenge here.

Happy Anniversary

We have several June anniversaries and birthdays at church so I am busy trying to get some cards done.  Here is an anniversary card for a sweet young couple at church.

I used my new Botanical Builder Framelits from SU and Recollections Pink CS and SU Old Olive CS for the flowers and leaves.  I added the white stamens to the flowers and pearls to the centers.  The sentiment is from Verve's Love Story set and cut with a die from MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags.  The embossed panel is made with Cuttlebug Modern Wallpaper EF.  I matted it with SU Crumb Cake and the card base is Coredinations Heavy White Card.

Seize the Birthday - Sunshine

Hello friends and Happy Thursday.  I haven't been posting as I had foot surgery on May 12th and am recuperating at home.  I have started physical therapy and hopefully next week, will get to loose this big, black boot I have to wear. :)

Anyway, it is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and I was able to gather a few supplies and make my card.  This time we have the option of having sunshine on your card.

For my card I used the SU Kinda Eclectic set for the sunshine and this cute penguin and tree from MFT Penguins in Paradise.   Doesn't he look like he is enjoying the sunshine?  I mounted him and the tree with foam tape.  I tore a piece of MFT Natural CS for the sand and sponged some water  with a couple of different blue inks and the clouds with SU Bashful Blue ink.  The sentiment is from SU Birthday Blossoms.  The green scallop panel is cut with a die from MFT Blueprints 20 and SU Wild Wasabi CS.
