Seize the Birthday - Tic Tac Toe

Hello Friends.  It is time for our new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Glenda has a  Tic Tac Toe board as our "Topping Option" for us to play with.

I used the diagonal row bottom left to top right - Slimline, Clean & Simple, Stencil. I used Pinkfresh Studio Blooming Branch stamp, die and STENCILS for the pretty flowers.   After stamping them, I used the stencils, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi inks to blend with.  I then die cut the image with the matching die and cut it apart to put at the top and bottom of my embossed panel (Spellbinders Columns EF) cut with a Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Slim Cuts die.   I mounted the flowers and sentiment (Gina K. Birthday Greetings) with foam tape.  I really like my finished card and it is clean and simple to do.

You can check out all the inspiration by the TEAM and our Party Guests using Glenda's Tic Tac Toe board and hope you will join in this fun challenge.

Happy Anniversary

Hello friends.  I have a new anniversary card to share today. This one is for a sweet couple at church.  I just received the Spellbinders Floral Spray die and wanted to use it right away.

I die cut the pretty flowers from 3 shades of blue (Balmy Blue, Marina Mist & Misty Moonlight) and then layered them together. I did do a little ink blending to the center of the lightest flower and around the edges of the largest flower.  The leaves and stems were cut from Pear Pizzazz.  I added these to a white panel cut with Concord & 9th Basket Weave Card Front Die. I also added small rhinestones to the flower centers. The sentiment is die cut with a Creative Expressions die.  I really like the finished card and hope the recipients will.   They always enjoy my cards.

I am linking to the Triple B Challenge - Birds, Blooms & Butterflies.  Of course I always enjoy making floral cards.

Birthday Wishes

Hello friends.  I have another birthday card to share today.  This one is for my great-granddaughter who has a birthday in August and she loves pink.

I started with a panel of Petal Pink cardstock which was cut with Sunny Studios Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die, using just the outer frame.  I embossed the panel with Spellbinders Checkered Scallops EF and added it to the card base.  Then I cut Waffle Flower's Radiating Diamond Frame die and stamped the sentiment from Gina K. Birthday Greetings.  I glued the frame down just in the center.  All the flowers and leaves were cut with Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms dies except the dark peach one from Club Blooms dies.  I mounted the larger bloom with foam tape and glued the smaller flowers and leaves around it.  I thought it needed something on the right side so I added two small flowers with leaves.  I really love the finished card.

I am linking my card to The Flower Challenge - Birthday.

Seize the Birthday - Fruits

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Colleen would like to see fruits for our birthday creations.

I have had the SU Sweetest Cherries for quite a while but this is the first time I have used it and I thought it was perfect for the "topping" option Colleen chose.  I die cut the white panel using Sunny Studio Fancy Frames-Lattice (I didn't use the lattice part).  I then used a SU Mask and Soft Sea Foam ink to lightly blend a background for the cherries.  I stamped the cherries and "Sweet" in Cherry Cobbler ink on white, then fussy cut them out.  The leaves were stamped in Old Olive and the stems in Soft Suede and fussy cut.  I glued the parts together and mounted them with foam tape to the background panel.  I also fussy cut the sentiments and mounted them with foam tape. This was a fun card to make.

Be sure to check out what the team and our party guests have created for this fun challenge over at Seize the Birthday.  I hope to see you in our gallery.

I am also linking to Darnell's NBUS challenge since this is the first time I have used this set.

Happy Birthday for The Flower Challenge

Hello friends.  I have a new birthday card to share today.  This one will be going to a friend at church.  I made the card with The Flower Challenge in mind - their theme this month is Birthday.

I had these flowers from Pinkfresh Studio You're the Best already stamped so I colored them with Copic markers and then fussy cut them out.  The white die cut border is cut with a Gina Marie Designs die.  I glued this to a SU Basic Beige panel and then to a white card base.  I mounted the flowers with foam tape around the border.  The sentiment is from Penny Black Super Day stamp set.  I really like the finished card and I hope the recipient does also.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Anniversary for JUGS #733

Hello friends.  I have an anniversary card to share today.  I made it with the JUGS challenge in mind - Anything Goes Stencil Week #733.

I used a Tim Holtz String Stencil and SU Crumb Cake ink for the white panel,  For the pretty flowers I used Pinkfresh Studio Be Fearless set.  I stamped the images and used the stencils and my blending brushes to color them with - PFS Mimosa & Mango Sorbet inks for the flowers and SU Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.  The sentiment is an older Verve stamp which is stamped in SU Early Espresso ink.  After die cutting the flowers, I mounted them with foam, arranging them on opposite corners.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
