Hello friends. It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Colleen would like to see fruits for our birthday creations.
I have had the SU Sweetest Cherries for quite a while but this is the first time I have used it and I thought it was perfect for the "topping" option Colleen chose. I die cut the white panel using Sunny Studio Fancy Frames-Lattice (I didn't use the lattice part). I then used a SU Mask and Soft Sea Foam ink to lightly blend a background for the cherries. I stamped the cherries and "Sweet" in Cherry Cobbler ink on white, then fussy cut them out. The leaves were stamped in Old Olive and the stems in Soft Suede and fussy cut. I glued the parts together and mounted them with foam tape to the background panel. I also fussy cut the sentiments and mounted them with foam tape. This was a fun card to make.
Be sure to check out what the team and our party guests have created for this fun challenge over at Seize the Birthday. I hope to see you in our gallery.
I am also linking to Darnell's NBUS challenge since this is the first time I have used this set.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
