Hello friends. It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday. Glenda is our hostess and she has asked us to use splatter on our cards.
The blue pattern paper is from my stash and didn't have a name on it. I cut a panel of the paper and splattered some white watercolor paint on it (it actually has a pearl tint to it that shows up beautifully in the light). I added a black mat to it and then mounted it on a white panel embossed with SU Exposed Brick EF and then mounted the panels to my card base. The pretty flowers are from Gina K. Designs Whimsical Wildflowers Bundle and are die cut with the matching die. I colored them with SU Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive Blends, then mounted them with foam tape. The sentiment is from an older Verve stamp set. I thought about embossing the sentiment in white but thought it would look better in black since the image was stamped in black and with the black mat.
Be sure to check out all the team's cards and our SPG over at Seize the Birthday. I hope you will be inspired to join in our challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
