JUGS Color Challenge

I made a card for a friend at church using the colors Nancy chose at the current Just Us Girls challenge.
I used SU Floral Essence for the leaves and flower.  I colored the flower with Pink Pirouette Blends and then added the darker shading with Melon Mambo ink and my aqua brush.  The leaves are stamped with Garden Green and punched with the Leaf Punch.  The designer paper is from the Garden Lane pack and the sentiment is from Magnolia Blooms.  The border on the white panel is cut with Simon Says Stamp Dot Scallop Border and mounted with foam tape.  The flower is also mounted with foam tape and I added a clear faceted gem.  I then used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen to add a little shine to the flower.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,

  1. This is a real beauty! Your coloring on that flower is gorgeous and I really like this design, too. Thanks so much for playing along with us again at JUGS!

  2. I love how you've used alcohol markers and watercolor on the flowers! Love the swoop die and patterned paper as contrast!

  3. Between the pattern paper and the fancy border die this card is a winner. Colors are wonderful.

  4. Again another beautiful birthday card! I love the Dot Scallop Border and it's on my ever ending list... Have a blessed weekend

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and leave your comments. They make my day and are appreciated.
