Good morning friends. I made a card for the CAS Mix Up October challenge - Metal. I had to give this faux metal technique a try.
Yay, my card was one of the Top Picks at CAS Mix Up.
Yay, my card was one of the Top Picks at CAS Mix Up.
I am getting better at CAS cards. :) and enjoy playing in the CAS challenges. I am using metal, stamping and die cuts. I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Circle Leaves 3 times, layered it and embossed it 5 times in gold embossing powder to give it a metal look - I hope it does. I had embossed the circle around the leaves, but didn't like it so I clipped the cleaves out of the circle and them made a frame with two circle dies and placed the leaves in it. I mounted the frame with foam tape to match the dimension of the leaves. I added the watercolor background to make them shine and also added some gold spots to it. The scallop panel is die cut with MFT Blueprints 27 die. The sentiment is from Neat & Tangled Floral Frame set.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
