Seize the Birthday - Red, White, Plus one color

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and I am hosting this time.  For the topping option I chose Red, White Plus One Color as it is Valentine month and we always think of red and white.

Naturally, I made a floral card and chose green to go with my red and white flower card.  I used Altenew Cartoon Tulips stamp and die set for the tulips.  I colored them with SU Real Red and Granny Apple Green Blends, then die cut them with the matching die.   I used Altenew Waffled Diamonds 3D EF for the white panel, but first I cut the Spellbinders oval from the center.  After embossing it, I glued it to a panel of green pattern paper from my stash, and then glued the oval back in.  I mounted the tulips with foam tape for dimension.  The sentiment is from an older SU set, stamped on a scrap of white.  I fussy cut the ends and mounted partially with foam tape and glued part of it over the flower stems.

Be sure to check out all the lovely cards by our team and guest designers over at Seize the Birthday.  Hope to see you in our gallery.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  9. What a fresh looking card show reminiscent of spring. When I was up north I always look forward to spring but here in Florida it seems like it’s here all the time. Specially liking that 3-D folder and probably it’s going on my wish list. Have a great day.
