Happy Birthday for Color Hues

Hello friends.  I have a birthday card to share today.  I made this one using the colors from Color Hues Challenge - Cyan & Lime Green

I first stamped Pinkfresh Studio's Diamond Tiles background in SU Parakeet Party and then cut it with the largest die from Pinkfresh's Blanket Stitched Rectangle die set.  I die cut the white panel with  SU Scalloped Contours die set, stamped the sentiment from SU Happy Thoughts in Tahitian Tide and then embossed the panel with SU Subtle EF (ret.).  The pretty bloom is cut with Papertrey Ink Into the Blooms II from SU Tahitian Tide.  I used the small and middle dies for this flower, cutting two layers each.  I added Wink of Stella to the flower petals and layered them together, shaping them with my fingers.  You can see the shine from the Wink of Stella in the photo below.

I added a pretty rhinestone to the center for extra bling.  The leaves are cut from Parakeet Party with a retired SU set.  I love this die and use it quite often, even though it is retired.  I glued the leaves under the flower petals and my card was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
