Merry Monday Challenge - Use a Tag

Hello Everyone and happy Monday.  It is time for a new challenge at Merry Monday and this time Sue has challenged us to add a decorated tag to our cards.

For my card I die cut the Stitched Main Street Tag by Poppy Stamps from MFT Primitive Cream CS and them embossed it with SU Brick Wall EF.  I fussy cut the green mat. The stocking is from Power Poppy Poinsettia stamp set, stamped on Strathmore Bristol CS and colored with Promarkers.  I fussy cut the image and added it to the tag with foam tape.  I went over the ribbon, candy canes and center of the flower with my clear glitter gel pen for a little bling (but it doesn't show up in the photo - it is very pretty IRL).  I also added a small gold brad to the stocking hanger to look like it was hanging on the brick wall.  I added the Christmas ribbon and tied with a thread bow.  The tag is mounted with foam tape also.  The DSP and green mats are from an older DCWV Christmas Scrapbook pad.  The sentiment is from the Poinsettia stamp set.

I hope you will check out all the fabulous tag creations by my team mates over at Merry Monday and play along with us this week.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

Christmas Card Challenges #22

Good Morning friends.  I hope your are having a wonderful Sunday.
It is time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and this week we have a color inspiration for you.
Here is my card.
I stamped the stocking from PowerPoppy Poinsettia set and colored it with Copics.  I cut it out and mounted it with foam tape on a tag cut with MFT Blueprints Tag Buildiers 1 die.  I did shorten the tag a little to make it fit my card better.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is stamped in SU Cherry Cobbler ink on an MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags die.  I inked around the edges of the banner and tag with Cherry Cobbler ink.  The DSP is some older SU Christmas paper.  Tag is cut from a piece of scrap music paper, not sure which pad it came from, MME I think.  The tag is also mounted with foam tape.  I added some sheer gold ribbon to the top.

I hope you will check our all the fabulous creations by my teammates at Christmas Card Challenges and be inspired to play along with us this week.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
