Get Well Soon

Hello friends.  I have a Get Well card to share today which will be going to a good friend who is in the hospital.  I used the new colors at Color Hues Challenge.  My friend Nancy has chosen the colors of Dusty Blue and Brown, which I love. Be sure to check out all the fabulous cards by the designers over at Color Hues.
The blue gingham pattern paper is from my stash and I cut a panel and mounted it on a SU Soft Suede mat.  Then I used Altenew Darling Dahlia to die cut the flowers from SU Boho Blue and the leaves from Soft Suede.  I blended white ink to the centers of the Dahlias before gluing the layers together.  I used my new SSS Petal Point Frames dies to cut the white panel, stamped the sentiment from Gina K. Designs Elegant Thoughts in brown ink, and glued the panel at an angle to the the card.  Then I mounted the flowers in opposite corners of the frame and my card was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

Get Well Soon

A friend asked me to make some Get Well cards so I am working on them and this is the first one.

I used Gina K. Designs Ornate Frame and mounted it over a panel of SU Pumpkin Pie.  I stamped the sentiment on the middle panel and glued it back in the center.  The flowers are from Gina K. Designs Flower Medley stamp & die set.  I colored them with SU Blends - Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green, then mounted them with foam tape.  I added 2 black enamel dots to the flower centers. The frame panel is mounted to a panel embossed with SU Dainty Diamonds EF and then to the card base.

I will share this at Triple B July Challenge - Birds, Blooms, Butterflies

and at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge - bottom row

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Feel Better Very Soon

For my card today I used the sketch from Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #201

and the new color challenge (love this color combo) at My Favorite Things.

I used MFT Smooth White, Black Licorice and Pink Lemonade CS, and 3 different 6x6 pads for the DSP.  The pink stripe is from Amercian Crafts Dots and Stripes, the black leopard print is Echo Park Love Story, and the b/w print is from Echo Park Yours Truly. I used MFT Upsy Daisy, Leaf-filled Flourish and Blueprints 6 Die-namics (scalloped circle) and the sentiment is from Vintage Frames.
The flower and sentiment are adhered with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Happy Stamping,
