Hello Friends. I am working on Christmas cards and have one to share at The Flower Challenge where they want us to Use Gold.
For my card I used gold foil to cut out the sentiment and to back the top cut out section, which are both from Concord & 9th Festive Corner Cuts Dies. I was inspired by this card on Pinterest the way Bette used the corner die across the top of the card panel. I love this new set and have used it several times. The poinsettia is die cut from lt. pink cardstock using SU Poinsettia Petals Stamps & dies (retired) and the leaves from the same set cut from Soft Sea Foam green. The berry sprigs are from the same set and stamped in Soft Suede ink and the berries in Flirty Flamingo ink. I added some gold beads to the center of the poinsettia and mounted it with foam tape, then tucked the leaves and sprigs under the bloom.
I am linking to The Christmas Kickstart Challenge also.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty design, JoAnn! I love the cutout background to reveal a pretty pattern and then topped with a gorgeous poinsettia. xx
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, JoAnn. Love the softness. Fabulous dimension, too.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, JoAnn! The pink poinsettia really pops against the gold in the background. Thanks so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge.
