Seize the Birthday - Use Your Scraps

Hello friends,   It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time Lindsey would like us to use our scraps on our birthday project.

I had this flower from Altenew/Pinkfresh Studio Celebrate Us already stamped, including the yellow layers and just had to color the leaves and then die cut it with the matching die.  Luckily I had some scraps that went with the flower colors so I cut 3/4" strips and mounted them on a white panel embossed with SU Dainty Diamonds EF.  I added a thin black mat to this layer to make the colors pop more.  The sentiment from SU Fancy Phrases was stamped on a panel cut with a retired die.  The sentiment and flower were mounted with foam tape.  I added 3 yellow candy dots for a final touch.

Don't forget to check out all the fabulous cards by the design team over at Seize the Birthday and  join in the fun.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,

JoAnn

  8. This is a showstopper, JoAnn! I love how beautifully you colored the flower and leaves, the pretty label sediment, and the matching scraps of pp you used for a background panel! And behind that, great texture from the embossing! Keep safe! Hugs, Darnell
