Hello friends and happy Thursday. We have a new challenge for you at Seize the Birthday and this time Shirley would like us to add texture to our cards. Just remember this is an option and the only requirement is that it be for a birthday.
For texture I made a panel using MFT Small Brick Wall stencil and Golden Light Molding Paste. I added a drop of re-inker to color the paste for texture on the brick wall. I let this dry while stamping and die cutting the pretty MFT Floral Focus set. I snipped the flower in two sections and colored it with SU Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green Blends. I cut a circle in the top layer with the largest die from SU Layering Circles die set, stamped the sentiment (Stampabilities) and then embossed it with SU Subtle EF. Love the texture from this EF. You can click on the photo to get a better view of the texture. I mounted the flowers and top panel with foam tape for dimension.
Now you need to hop over to Seize the Birthday and check out all the fabulous cards by my teammates. I hope you will be inspired to play along in our fun challenge.
I will also link my card up at The Flower Challenge - Circle/Circles
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
