Color Hues - Pink and Red

Hello friends.  I am honored to be the Guest Designer at Color Hues Challenge today and the colors are Red & Pink.

I was going through my stamps and found this older stamp from Art Impressions, Cupcake BFFs and thought it would be perfect to color in Red & Pink.
After stamping the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I colored her with Copics and used SU Crumb Cake Blends for her hair and cupcake wrapper.  I die cut her with my new Penny Black Curvature dies and also cut a Real Red frame.  It cuts the center out as well a the frame.  I glued the red frame over the white frame for a little dimension, and then to the Pretty in Pink panel embossed with Taylored Expressions Weathered EF.  I then mounted this panel to the white card base.  The stamped image panel was then glued in the opening of the frame.  The sentiment from the same stamp set, is stamped on a white scrap and glued to the edge of the frame.

Now it is time to check out what the DT did with these colors.  Hope you will be inspired to join us in this fun challenge.

I am also linking to Darnell's NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff) as this is the first time I used these dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello friends.  I have a wintry card to share today.  I made this card for a couple of challenges.

Just Us Girls - photo week

and also the Tic Tac Toe Challenge (first row down - snowman/snowgirl, white, die cut).

The image is from an older Art Impressions set but I can't find a name on it.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics  I added white fun flock to the penguins hat brims and pom poms.  I also added light molding paste along the bottom for some textured snow.  I sponged lit. blue ink over the top for a sky.  I die cut the image with Lil' Inkers Design Side Stitched Rectangle die and then mounted it to a blue striped pattern paper..  The sentiment is from an older MFT  set (retired). This panel was added to the white card base and my card was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I really appreciate it when you leave a comment, it makes my day.
I hope you have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

Big Birthday Wishes

Hello and happy Thursday friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of "make us laugh".

I have this cute Art Impressions stamp set that I got from a friend and I thought it would be perfect for this challenge.  It is the first time I have used it. These 3 ladies look like they are having lots of fun icing that big cake and sampling the icing. :)  I colored the image with Copics and Promarkers and then die cut it with a Lil' Inker Designs die.  I put it back in the die and cut it shorter to fit my card.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I matted the image panel and the sentiment with SU Chocolate Chip CS.  The pattern paper is from my stash.

I hope you will check out all the fun cards by our guest designer and the rest of the team over at Seize the Birthday and join in the fun.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,

Happy Birthday Wishes for Seize the Birthday

Happy Thursday friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time it is "Anything Goes" as long as it is for a birthday.

I used an older sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for my card.

I got this Art Impressions Cupcake BFFs stamp at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo show earlier this year and have been wanting to use it.  I inked her up and stamped her on X-press It Blending Card and colored her with Copics.  I fussy cut her out and mounted her with foam tape on the panel cut with MFT Stitched Rectangle.  The sentiment is from SU Simply Sketched.  I also added some MME Enamel Dots for a little extra touch.  The DSP is from an older Pebbles Yours Truly 6x6 pad.

Don't forget to check out all the fabulous cards by my teammates over at Seize the Birthday.  I hope you will join us for this fun challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
