Hello friends. I have an anniversary card to share today. I made this one for our Youth Pastor and his wife using the Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.
ETA: Yea, my card was chosen as Headliner at the Paper Players.
I used the bottom left to upper right diagonal line - sparkle (gold beads & gold embossing), die cut (flowers and background cover plate) and embossing, wet or dry (wet embossing with gold embossing powder). I was inspired by this card by Bette Manning on Pinterest (thanks for the inspiration Bette). I love the colors and flowers and used the same but changed up the design and sentiment. The Pale Papaya background is cut with Spellbinders Infinity Punch & Pierce Plate - I left out the center panel and placed it on a white card base. The flowers are cut with Spellbinders Stylish Oval Hello You Floral dies in off-white card. I sponged the centers with Petal Pink ink and die cut the small center pieces from Petal Pink card for a little contrast. I added small gold beads to the centers to coordinate with the gold embossed sentiment, which is from an older Verve set. The leaves are die cut from Soft Sea Foam card.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
I will also link to Darnell's NBUS as this is the first time I have used me new Spellbinder's dies.
This is just gorgeous! That Pale Papaya makes for such a lovely background and that background plate is AMAZING! Gorgeous flowers too--you do them so well! Thanks for playing with our Paper Players Tic Tac Toe challenge this week!
