Seize the Birthday - Sketch

Hello friends and happy Thursday.  Our "topping" option for Seize the Birthday this time is a sketch chosen by Glenda.

For my card I die cut a Just Jade panel with Ornate Layers die and then pounced some White Frost Shimmer paint over it for a  little added texture.  It is so pretty and shimmery in person. The small white panel is also cut with a die from the same set.  The sentiment is in a little different spot but still goes with the sketch, it is from SU Magnolia Blooms.  The flower is from SU A Touch of Ink colored with Flirty Flamingo and Just Jade Blends.  I mounted the sentiment panel with foam tape and glued the flower to it, adding a little foam tape to the top to keep it even.

Be sure to check out all the designer's take on the sketch over at Seize the Birthday and join us in this fun challenge.  Hope to see you in our gallery.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a blessed day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  1. What a pretty pair of colours! The shimmer paint adds a lot of interest to the background panel - and a good reminder that mine haven't been out to play for a while!

  10. You added the texture yourself? I thought the entire thing was pattern paper! It looks gorgeous! And I love how you've paired that minty blue(?) with the pink - one of my favorite color combinations (which I've never tried!!) I love the flowers, and the beautiful ornate die cuts as well. Love, love, love this card!
