Sympathy Card

Today I am sharing a sympathy card for a dear friend whose husband passed away. This is what I made.

The flowers are from the new SU True Love paper.  I fussy cut them and colored them with SU So Saffron Blends with a touch of Mango Melody. The white panel is embossed with the Subtles EF.  The b/w stripe paper is from the same paper pack and the So Saffron is from the 6x6 Subtles pack.  The sentiment is from SU Peaceful Moments, cut and matted with the Layered Ovals dies and mounted with foam tape. The flowers are also mounted with foam tape.  The leaves are cut with a die from the Forever Fern set. I cut it apart and added pieces under the flowers.  I added this to the black mat and then to my card base and my card was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  1. I have seen lots of blog cards using this set and everyone is lovely. This flower is so lovely that no matter how one uses it on a card it will always turn out gorgeous. Love your choice of color and placement of goodies.
