May Your Holidays Sparkle

PPA164
I made a Christmas card using  Pals Paper Arts 164 sketch challenge.  I used SU Whisper White and Riding Hood Red cardstock.  The DSP is from the Recollections Festivites 6x6 pad.  The sentiment is from MFT Seasonal Sentiments.  The circles are cut from MFT Circle Stax Die-namics and the banners are cut with MFT Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics.  I used SU Silver Glitter paper for the mat and punched some small Red Glitter cicrles to add some sparkle to go along with the sentiment. I also went over the scroll part with a Sakura Clear Glaze Glitter pen.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

PPA 164 Sketch Challenge
Merry Monday Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Card Challenge

Birthday Wishes

Edit:  My card was a PPA Pick.

Sorry for the glare on the photo, but I had to take it inside as it is a rainy afternoon here in Central Florida.
I made my birthday card using Freshly Made Sketches 94 and the colors from the PPA Color Challenge. I am also entering my card in the Seize The Birthday Anything Goes challenge.  I embossed the Very Vanilla layer with the SU Finial Press EF (retired) and the sentiment is from SU Bring On The Cake.  I stamped the flowers from SU Flower Soft in Cherry Cobbler ink on Very Vanilla CS, sponged some CC ink over them, cut them out and added more ink around the edges of the petals.  I shaped the leaves with my stylus and a mouse pad and then added pearls to the centers.  The leaves are punched in Midnight Muse with the Build a Bird punch.  I love this sketch and will be using it again.
