Hello friends. After being off for a couple of months due to foot surgery, I am happy to be joining my STB teammates for this fun challenge. Barbara has chosen the "Topping" option of Summer Activities for this challenge. The only requirement though, is that it has to be for a birthday.
For my card I used an older MFT stamp set, Sprinkler Girl, I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copics. I also stamped her again on the tiny blue check pattern paper and fussy cut the bathing suit and glued it on. I fussy cut her and the sprinkler and mounted them with foam tape to a scallop die cut panel to which I sponged on blue and green DOI for the sky and grass. The sentiment is from SU Peaceful Moments. I mounted this panel with foam tape on a panel of SU Simple Marbleous DSP (retired), and then to the white card base.
I will also link up to the Color Hues challenge - Blue and Green.
Be sure to check out all the fun summer cards over at Seize the Birthday and join in our fun challenge.
Hope to see you in our gallery.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

So glad to see you back and feeling better JoAnn. I love your card so many people made cards with activities from memories as a childhood. Our summer activities were playing outside in the sprinkler and it was so much simpler then. But a lot of fun just like your card.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back my friend, You were missed! Hope you are continuing to heal and things stay moving in the right direction for you. As for you darling sprinkle jumper... she is darling. I love your soft background and your marbled paper as well as her paper-pieced bathing suit. Perfect summer card that will remind all of us of our childhood. Thanks for linking up at Color Hues too! Hugs!
