Hello friends. I have another birthday card to share today. I made this one using the Color Hues challenge - Yellow & Orange. They are celebrating their one year anniversary. Congratulations to Color Hues.
For my card I used the Daisy Bouquet stamp and die set from Paper Rose. I colored the daisies with SU Blends - So Saffron for the daisies, a little Pumpkin Pie around the center and Crumb Cake for the stems and leaves. I cut the oval grid from a white panel using Spellbinders Floral Oval die (retired) and then embossed the panel with SU Textured Textile EF. I glued the panel to my orange card base and then glued the oval back in. After die cutting the daisies, I did a little extra fussy cutting to remove the white border and the inside sections on the image. I mounted them with foam tape over the oval cut out section. I like how the orange card base shows through. I stamped the sentiment from SU Art Gallery and then die cut it using a die from MFT. I added foam tape to the ends of the banner to mount it. I added 3 yellow enamel dots for a final touch.
It's a fabulous design, JoAnn! All your attention to details really paid off---it's a gorgeous card! Thanks for joining us for Color Hues' first birthday celebration!
