Thinking of You

Hello friends.  I am sharing a card I made for a friend in the hospital.
I used Altenew Painted Flowers stamped in SU Marina Mist.  I stamped the base layer by stamping off once for a lighter blue, and then the filler is stamped full strength.  I colored the leaves with Copics instead of stamping them and die cut them with the matching dies.  The top flowers are mounted with foam tape.  The sentiment is an older SU stamp and die cut with MFT Pierced Oval.  The mat is MFT Stitched Mini Scallop Oval die cut from Marina Mist CS.  The white panel is stamped with MFT  Wood Plank background with SU Smokey Slate ink stamped off once for a lighter look.  I matted this with Marina Mist CS and glued it to the card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you are having a great Labor Day weekend.

Happy Stamping,

  1. Love the blue roses and all that dimension, JoAnn! I hope your friend feels better soon. I'm sure this will cheer her!

  2. You do such a great job with those painted flowers, JoAnn! I love every card you've made with them, including this beauty!! Hugs, Darnell

  3. I love the depth of color you achieved with those flowers! The leaves are equally gorgeous and what a wonderful card for someone in the hospital. Simply beautiful!

  4. This cheery card will certainly make your friend feel better. So nice of you to make and send it.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and leave your comments. They make my day and are appreciated.
