Birthday Card for Color Throwdown #809

Hello friends.  This is my last minute card for The Color Throwdown Challenge #809.

I had to think of how I was going to use these colors together but I like my finished card.  I used Spellbinders Teal Topaz for the flower cut with MFT Bold Blooms dies.   I cut 2 of the large flowers and layered them together, then added a Queen & Co. Gem to the center.  The leaves are cut from SU Granny Apple Green.  Memory Box Happy Birthday Pash Script die was cut from SU Highland Heather (base) and white. also the mat is Highland Heather.  The white panel is embossed with a new SU EF - Forever Plaid.  Now, I am off to link up over at The Color Throwdown.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

The Paper Players - Dots or Stripes

Hello friends.  I have a birthday card to share today.  I made it with The Paper Players Theme Challenge - Dots or Stripes.

I used striped pattern paper from Altenew Exuberant Paper Pack and embossed it with SU Tasteful Textile EF (R) to give it a little dimension.  I used Gina K. Designs Wishful Flowers to stamp the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with SU Pretty in Pink and Granny Apple Green Blends. I then die cut the image with the matching dies.  The white scallop panel is cut with SU Scallop Contours dies (R) and stamped with the sentiment from SU Labeled With Love.  I mounted this with foam tape to the yellow panel and then glued the flowers on.  I added a little foam tape under the flower sticking off the panel.

I will also link to The Color Throwdown with these colors for their challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday for FMS93 and CTD249

This is a birthday card for my son, whose birthday is Wednesday.  I used the colors from The Color Throwdown 249 and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 93.

The card base and sentiment panel are SU Whisper White. I embossed the Brilliant Blue panel with a Cuttlebug EF and also punched the 3 stars from BB. The striped paper is Poppy Parade DSP and I added a Bermuda Bay mat to the sentiment panel, which is mounted with foam tape.  The sentiment is an older stamp I got from JoAnn's, but there is no name on it.  I stamped in it Brilliant Blue ink.  I added brads from Recollections to the corners and also to the star centers. The scallop border punch is from SU.

That's it for my card.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I appreciate your comments.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
