Seize the Birthday - Lots of Leaves

Happy Thursday friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of using "Lots of Leaves" on your birthday project.  It is just an option and the only requirement is that if be for a birthday.  You can check out all the details over at the Seize the Birthday blog.

I used the Leafy Vine Cutting Plate by Taylored Expressions to cut the leaves from white CS and then sponged SU Really Rust, Old Olive, and Crushed Curry inks over the leaves.  I then glued it on a separate piece of white, glued that to the card base and then added a die cut frame using Mama Elephant Framed Tags.  I added the sentiment from MFT Birthday Balloon Jolinne (discontinued) on an MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags die.

I am also linking my card up at Just Us Girls Color Week.

We have lots of leafy inspiration for you over at Seize the Birthday.  Stop over and check it out.  I hope you will play along with us.

Thanks for stopping by.  I appreciate it when you take time to leave me a comment.
Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

Dimension for Seize the Birthday

Hello friends and happy Thursday.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of "Dimension" on your birthday project.

For my card I used my new frame die by Mama Elephant called Framed Tags.    I mounted it with foam tape for dimension.  The flowers are from SU Bloom With Hope.  I stamped them a second time and fussy cut them after coloring with Copics.  They are mounted with foam tape also.  I added some tiny yellow buttons from my stash to the centers.  The sentiment is a stamp from JoAnn's and it doesn't have a name on it.  It is similar to SU Beautiful Birthday, but is smaller in size.

This photo shows the dimension of the frame and flowers.

Be sure to check out all the fabulous creations by my teammates over at Seize the Birthday.  I hope you will be inspired to play along with us.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
