Seize the Birthday - Water

Hello Friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings" option of using water on your birthday project.

I made a masculine card with this image from Our Daily Bread Designs The Waves on the Sea.  I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending Card and colored it with Promarkers.  I cut the image out with MFT Circle Stax 1 and the mat with Circle Stax 2 dies.  The mats are SU Night of Navy and the DSP is from an older SU Nautical Expedition pack.  The scallop mat is cut with a die from MFT Blueprints 20.  The sentiment from SU Four You is stamped in Night of Navy ink.  I sponged the clouds with a cloud die cut and Bashful Blue ink.  The image panel is mounted with foam tape.

Now check out all the great cards by the DT over at Seize the Birthday.  I hope you will play along with us.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

Happy 40th Anniversary

I am sharing a card I made for our Pastor & his wife for their 40th anniversary, which is ruby, so I made the card in red & white.
The card base and die-cut panel are MFT Smooth White CS.  The red is MFT Electric Red.  I used Our Daily Breads Vintage Flourish Pattern die for the white diecut panel and SU Memorable Moments stamp set and Label Collections die for the sentiment panel.  The flowers are made with Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms stamp and dies.  I stamped the flowers in MFT Electric Red ink and cut them out with the matching dies.  I shaped the petals with a stylus and added a ruby rhinestone brad to the centers.  The leaves are done with MFT Royal Leaves die and SU Certainly Celery CS.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.  Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,

Christmas Card Challenges - No Pattern Papers

Good Sunday morning friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and this week the challenge is to use "no pattern paper".

I used MFT Smooth White CS and SU Midnight Muse CS and ink.  The diecut is from Our Daily Bread Designs Vintage Flourish Pattern die.  I cut the center panel, stamped the mage from Hero Arts CL559, and mounted it with foam tape.  The sentiment is from Verve Glad Tidings and is mounted with foam tape also.

Now check out all the great creations by my teammates over at Christmas Card Challenges.  I hope you will join us this week.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a Blessed Mother's Day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
