Happy Birthday for The Flower Challenge

Hello friends.  I saw the inspiration photo at The Flower Challenge and had to make a card for it using my new Spellbinders Cosmos dies.

I die cut 3 sets of flowers from white card and ink blended Salty Ocean DOI over them, making it darker in the centers.  I shaped them with my stylus before gluing together.  I die cut 3 of the spikey centers from black for each flower, shaped them with my stylus and glued together.  I added a rhinestone to the centers.  I found this peach colored DSP in my stash (it looks lighter in the photo) and thought it would make a good background.  I glued it to the front of the white card base and then had to decide how I wanted to arrange the flowers.  I tried several ways before I decided to make a white square, embossed with SU Distressed Tile EF, turned in a diamond shape for the sentiment, and then arranged the flowers around the bottom.  The sentiment is from Gina K. Designs Elegant Thoughts Stamp & Die set.  I stamped it in SU Pumpkin Pie, die cut it, and added 3 plain white die cuts for dimension, then glued it to the diamond shape.

I will also link to the Triple B Challenge - Birds, Blooms, Butterfiles.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
