Hello friends. It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Linda has chosen the "Topping" option of Anything That Flies. Of course, it can always be anything goes for a birthday.
I thought about butterflies first, then birds, so I looked through my stamps and found this WPlus9 Flora and Fauna 3 stamp set which had the bird amongst the flowers so I went with that. You know I love using flowers. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics and think it turned out so pretty. I fussy cut the image as their is no die. I laid it on several background panels and finally settled on this lt. blue panel and embossed it with SU Subtle EF (ret.) I mounted the image with foam tape to the blue panel and then to the white card base. I stamped the sentiment from an older SU set and cut it with an Altenew die. I mounted the sentiment with foam tape also and my card was done.
Be sure to check out all the inspiration by the design team and our party guests over at STB.
I am linking to the Triple B Challenge (I have both birds & blooms).
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

ReplyDeleteYour bird looks so comfy in the group of flowers. Yes, why not get the flowers in as they are your favorite. Such a beautiful card.

ReplyDeleteJoAnn, I'm a fan of anything with birds, and to have this one nestled in the beautiful flowers is the best! Lovely coloring.
