Sympathy Card for a Friend

Hello friends.  Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card for a friend who's husband passed away and this is the one I made for her.  She really loved and appreciated the card.

I used SU Layers of Beauty Stamps, dies, and masks (stencils).  I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and used the stencils to color them with Bubble Bath, Pretty in Pink and Soft Succulent (ret.) inks.  I added Flirty Flamingo to the centers of the small daisy flowers.  I cut the image apart ad arranged it at the bottom of my Smokey Slate panel which is embossed with the Cross Hatch EF.  I stamped the sentiment from SU Peaceful Moments (ret.) and die cut it with a die from SU Mixed Labels dies.  I mounted the sentiment and flowers with foam tape.

I will link to Just Us Girls Anything Goes Stencil Week #768

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  3. So so pretty JoAnn! The sweetest soft look using pink and the gray textured background shows off the flowers so well. So glad you played along with us at Just Us Girls this week!
