Happy Anniversary for friends

I am sharing another anniversary card I made for good friends at church.
I sort of copied myself from this card.  I love this PIT Bold Borders Flare die and this time I added some pattern paper behind it.  I like the contrast of the blue and purple.  The flowers are from Gina K Designs Stippled Flowers.  I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics.  I die cut them with the matching dies and added the flowers with foam tape for dimension. I also added clear Wink of Stella to all the flowers, but it doesn't show up in the photo, it is so pretty IRL.  The leaves are just glued down.  I added Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins in the frame and around the sentiment.  The sentiment is a Stampabilities stamp from Hobby Lobby.

I think this border qualifies for the Geometric Patterns challenge at Shopping Our Stash so I am linking it there.

Happy Stamping,

  1. Gorgeous card, JoAnn! Love how the flowers pop against the delicate background!

  2. I love this die cut background and always love to see you using it, JoAnn! The blue and purple are so pretty together! An anniversary card for the happy couple to cherish!

  3. This is absolutely gorgeous!! Wow! That die cut background is amazing as is your coloring on the flowers. Thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!

  4. What a lovely card! From the thumbnail, I thought the flowers were fully dimensional-- you did an amazing job with that stamp! Another great thing about flat flowers is they are mailer-friendly! Anyway... just love this. Thank you for sharing at SOS this week.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and leave your comments. They make my day and are appreciated.
