Hello friends and welcome to my blog. I have a card I made for a friend using this week's JUGS Watercolor Background challenge.
I had these Altenew Painted Flowers already stamped and cut from a previous card so I did a watercolor background using similar colors from my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors and I like how it turned out. I also sprayed the background with Hero Arts White Iridescent Shimmer Spray but it doesn't show up much in the photo. I think it looks great with the flower colors. I used MFT Split Chevron Cover Up plate (discontinued) to put over the background and then added the sentiment panel and flowers with foam tape. The sentiment is an older SU stamp that I have used quite a bit. I love the font in it.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
Love these flowers and the colors and the die cut background! I know I'd love the shimmer too! Too bad our cameras don't like to catch it! Gorgeous card, JoAnn!
ReplyDeleteI like how this turned out, too, JoAnn! I love those Altenew flowers and your arrangement of them around the sediment panel! The cover plate and your pretty watercolor background are beautiful behind it!! Hugs, Darnell
