Merry Monday #289 - Add Star to Your Card

Good morning Merry Monday fans.  This week our challenge is brought to us by Debbie and she wants us to add a star to our Christmas card.
For my card I used star pattern paper from Tim Holtz Christmas 8x8 pad cut with a die from MFT Blueprints 27.  The white circle is cut with MFT Stitched Circle Stax and the sentiment (done on my computer) panel is cut with MFT Stitched Fishtail Flags Stax.  I cut one end part of the way and then placed it back in the die to cut the other end.  The joy is a die by Cottage Cutz called Joy Nativity, cut from gold foil paper by Recollections.  I cut one gold and 2 white layers, glued them together and mounted it and the sentiment panel with foam tape.

Please hop over to the Merry Monday Challenge blog and check out all the wonderful cards with stars by the Design Team.  Can't wait to see your cards in our gallery.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

  7. JoAnne - I like your idea of using a star background for your card. I'm combining inspiration from several of the design team's cards for mine, and will definitely use the background idea! Thanks! -Donna
