I have several birthday and anniversary cards to make for June. I used this week's JUGS Photo Week challenge to make this birthday card for a friend at church.
The pattern paper is Mint Julep by Papertrey Ink. I die cut the circle before embossing it with SU Pinewood Planks EF. I stamped the sentiment with SU Beautiful Birthday (retired) and then mounted the pattern paper. The sunflowers are from SU Greatful Bunch (retired). I colored them with Promarkers and then fussy cut them. I mounted them with foam tape and then added the leaves with SU Leaf Punch. I shaped the leaves with my fingers before adding them. As a final touch, I added clear Wink of Stella to the flower centers but it doesn't show up in the photo.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

ReplyDeleteHi my friend! This is another beautiful card! I especially love the way you crimped the leaves to make them more realistic! Thanks for being with us at Just Us Girls, I always smile when I see you in our gallery.
ReplyDeleteAnother pretty anniversary card, JoAnn! Love the happy sunflowers with their shaped leaves!
ReplyDeletePretty card JoAnn. Love the colors and gorgeous flowers.
ReplyDeleteAnother stunner card. Love the cut out window for the sentiment and the texturized DSP. So pretty!
