Good morning friends and welcome to a new challenge for Merry Monday. This week Deanne is our host and wants us to use a stencil to create our card.
I used a Heidi Swapp stripe stencil and MFT Electric Red ink to create the background panel and matted it with Electric Red CS. The cute snowman is a digi image and I can't remember where I got it, I think it was from Pinterest. I colored him with Promarkers and die cut him with an MFT Pierced Oval die. The Electric Red mat was also cut with a larger MFT Pierced Oval die. I mounted this panel with foam tape. I had stamped the sentiment on the snowman panel but it didn't stamp good (should have used my Misti), so I stamped it on a scrap and cut it into a banner shape, and mounted it with foam tape. I curved the stamp to make it fit on the oval. I also added some Fun Flock for the snow at the bottom.
Now check out all the great ways the designers used stencils over at Merry Monday. I hope you will join us this week.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful week.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
