Seize the Birthday - use Tags

It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time we have the "Toppings Option" of using tags, big or small, on your birthday project.

For my card I used the SU Tag Topper punch to make my tag and rounded the bottom corners with a punch.  I sponged the background with Bashful Blue ink and a scalloped circle punch. I diecut the grass with MFT Grassy Edges.  I stamped this cute pig from MFT Hog Heaven and colored him with promarkers.  I fussy cut him out and then added some Wink of Stella to the cupcake icing and cherry.  The image is mounted with foam tape and the tag is also mounted with foam tape.  I added some pink ribbon and tied it with twine.  The sentiment is from the same set and is on a banner cut with a die from MFT Blueprints 20.  The background diecut is with MFT Four Way Chevron Cover die in SU Soft Sky CS.  The sun ray DSP is from MME Adventure 6x6 pad.  The card base is Coredinations Premium Cardstock (110#) from JoAnn's.

Blogaversary Winner

Happy Anniversary

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing another anniversary card for a sweet couple at church.

My card base and white panel are Coredinations Heavy White Card.  I embossed the white panel with SU Happy Hearts EF.  The blue mat and flags are SU Bashful Blue CS and DSP (retired).  The scallop mat is cut with a MFT Blueprints 20 die.  The flags are cut with MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags dies.  The circles are cut with MFT Pierced Circle Stax and Circles 2 Stax.  The sentiment is from Verve's Love Story.  This panel is mounted with foam tape.  The flower and leaves are made with Heartfelt Creations Botanical Blooms stamp set and Botanical Wings Dies.  I sponged Pretty In Pink and Regal Rose inks on the flower petals and shaped them with Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  The leaves are stamped and sponged in SU Pear Pizzazz.  I added some lt. blue rhinestones from my stash to bling it up.

Blog Anniversary Giveaway

Hope Your Day Is Sprinkled With Fun

This card is for the JUGS Word Week (Water) challenge 

and I used this week's MFT Sketch Challenge

and The Paper Players - "You Light Up My Life"

I used MFT PI Sprinkler Girl for the image, colored her with Copics and paper-pieced her swimsuit. The sentiment is from the same set, but I cut it apart to make it fit in the space.  I masked the image and stamped grass with SU Pear Pizzazz and an old DOTS Hillside Grass stamp.  I sponged clouds with SU Bashful Blue ink and a punched scalloped circle.  The DSP is from Recollections Bold Basics paper pad.  I matted everything with black and the scalloped mat is cut with MFT Blueprints 20 die.  I used MFT Gerbera Daisy die (no longer available) to make the sun.

Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes

Happy Thursday friends.  It is time for a new Seize the Birthday Challenge and this week it is "Anything Goes" as long as it is for a birthday.

I also want to welcome, Monika Reeck, as our Surprise Party Guest for the months of August and September.  Welcome, Monika!  Please stop by her blog and leave her some love! Glad to have you with us Monika.

For my card I used SU Primrose Petals CS (retired)  and Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower dies for the flowers and mat. I sponged the petals with Primrose Petals ink and shaped them with a stylus.  I added white enamel dots to the centers. The sentiment is SU Beautiful Birthday (retired).  The leaves are from SU Botanical Builders Framelits cut from a scrap piece on my desk.   I punched the border with an EK Success Border Punch.  That is it for my card.

JUGS - Let's Hear It for the Girls

I made this card for a lady at church and am entering it in JUGS "Let's Hear It for the Girls".  It is definitely a girly card, which I love making.

For my card I used Taylored Expressions Circles Cutting Plate in SU Bashful Blue.  The flowers are made with Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamps and matching Botanical Wings dies.  I stamped the flowers in Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink on SU Naturals Ivory CS and then shaped the petals and sponged ink on the petal ends.  I added pearls to the centers.  The leaves are stamped in SU Old Olive and then sponged with Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz inks.  They are mountd with foam tape.  The sentiment is from Just Rite's Large Fancy Sentiments.  I inked around the edges to make it stand out a little from the background, and mounted it with foam tape.

Another Anniversary Card

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing an anniversary card I made for a couple at church.  We have quite a few anniversaries and birthdays this month, so there will be more anniversary cards.   

I am also joining The Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe challenge #306 as I used enamel dots, patterned paper and die cuts, the diagonal row.

I used SU Naturals White CS for the card base and white panels, and black for the mats.  The patterned paper is from Mirabelle Paper Pack by The Paper Studio.  The flower and leaves are  made with Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamps and Botanical Wings dies.  I added a black enamel dot to the flower.  The sentiment is by My Sentiments Exactly stamp from Hobby Lobby, stamped on MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags die cut.  The small white panel is embossed with SU Finial Press EF and mounted with foam tape.  The flower is also mounted with foam tape.
