This week's Merry Monday #81 challenge is to use a Santa on your Christmas card. I downloaded this cute Santa image from Whimsy and Stars Studio Etsy shop.
I printed the image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored him with Copics and Promarkers. I cut him out with Spellbinders Classic Ovals and inked around the edges with SU Crumb Cake ink while it was still in the die. I also added some white Fun Flock (I have had for ages) to the little pom pom on the end of his hat, and added Crystal Effects to his glasses. I matted him on a Spellbinders Scallop Oval cut from SU Real Red CS. I cut the Spellbinders Fancy Tag from Real Red CS. I traced around the inside opening to cut out the white part for my sentiment, which is from MFT's Christmas Ornaments set. The Santa image and sentiment are mounted with foam tape. The DSP is from DCWV Christmas Mat Stack from last year. The mat is Real Red CS and the card base is MFT Smooth White CS.
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your comments.
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
