Hello Friends. I have another anniversary card to share made with a new to me die set from Altenew called Grand Dahlia.
After die cutting the layers of the flower, I blended 3 shades of Pinkfresh ink - Sunkissed, Mimosa, and Mango Sorbet to the centers. I really like how it looks when assembled. I die cut the center from a brown scrap and added Wink of Stella to it. The leaves from the set are cut from SU Soft Succulent (ret.) and blended with the same ink. I really love this soft green color and hate that it was retired. I mounted the flower and leaves to a white panel embossed with SU Exposed Brick EF. The sentiment is an older one from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps that I use a lot also. I cut the words apart and mounted them with foam tape. The white panel was mounted to a panel of SU Crisp Cantaloupe and then to a white card base.
I will add this to Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge - Any Occasion
Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

Love that big beautiful bloom, this is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThat flower is gorgeous and your ink blending is so pretty - the pale tips of the petals really pop on your card. So glad you shared your card with our Any Occasion Challenge! Cathy ATS&M DT
