Hello friends. It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Shirley has chosen Splish Splash for our "Topping" option. If you are not into the topping, it can be our usual anything goes for a Birthday.
I used a free digital image from Whimsey Stamps (free on World Card Making Day) and sized it to fit on a panel cut with SU Radiating Stitches die. I colored it with SU Blends Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Boho Blue. After die cutting it, I mounted it with foam tape on a panel of Bleu Cheese (Taylored Expressions) also cut with the larger Radiating Stitches die. I then mounted the whole panel to a white card base. I did the sentiment on my computer and thought it would be perfect for the image. I glued it to opposite corners and my card was done. I like the finished card and it will be going to a little one at church who has a birthday this month.

ReplyDeleteI am pleasantly surprised that you took an opportunity for a free digital image and used it. These little ducks are so adorable they couldn't get any cuter. I love how you frame them in blue and added that texture as well. Nice job on this challenge
