Just Us Girls - Black & White Stripes

ETA:  Yea, my card was chosen as "Chic of the Week" over at Just Us Girls.

This is the first time I have played in the Just Us Girls challenge for a while but I couldn't resist the black & white stripes challenge.  I made a birthday card for a friend at church using the challenge.
I used MFT Diagonal Sentence Strip Cover-Up die and cut it out of white card and adhered it to a heavy cardstock black card base.  The flowers are from Papertrey Ink Gran's Garden stamped in SU Blushing Bride, Baha Breeze and Daffodil Delight and die cut with the matching die. I mounted the flowers with foam tape.  The leaves are stamped in SU Wild Wasabi and die cut.  The sentiment is from a retired SU set.   A quick and easy card but I love the flowers on the black and white background.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn
